Did he also melt when the refs clearly missed the interception call that was in fact trapped by the awbarn db? I suspect not, but the INT was a more egregiously bad call.

In Stanley's world, there has never been a legitimate penalty on auburn.

I hadn't heard this was his last season on radio. Retire or get invited to quit? lol. I'll miss the comedy on those few occasions I heard him.

Tipped pass or punt.

I'd say maybe on tipped pass.

On the punt, the angle that came out later shows 4-6 inches between the ball and either hand

Didn’t hear the melt, but Stanley White is the biggest douche canoe that I have ever come across in my 52 years and this was from a one time meeting set up by Ron Ingram back in 1988 at Legion Field my senior year of HS. Stan, Gary Clayton from Parker HS and myself met before my school was to play in the old Dental Clinic Classic that used to be held at Legion Field back in the day. He was a bitch then and hasn’t changed a bit since that time!!

Curious about the same thing.

Haven't heard anyone talking about that play, but from the in-stadium view it looked like the ball hit the ground before he "completed" the catch.

How did that one go over on TV? I haven't had a chance to go back and watch any of the game yet.

Hearing Stan White melt over a call is a beautiful symphony to my ears.

No good TV angle, but common sense would tell you he didn't control the catch. Guess they didn't have enough evidence to overturn

Stan cries so much they had to install scuppers and a bilge pump in his press box to keep his crew from drowning.
