I’m not scared of them at all, I’d actually just rather play better competition and a team that if you beat people won’t just say “well it was Memphis.” I don’t think playing Memphis is fun, I think playing Michigan would be a lot of fun.

I agree. It needs to be a brand name to get us a little excited about the matchup. Playing another Utah is just going to put us in the same no-win situation. Playing one of the big boys is the least we should expect from the bowl season. Playing in Miami would be another, but maybe that's pushing it a bit.

Georgia I guess. Don't really care, but it would be funny to see LSU fans happily accepting that playoff bid even though "they didn't even win their conference!"
Also if LSU ended up with two losses and no championships in their magical season, I'd get a chuckle.

I fall into the don’t care category like most. I think LSU is the better team, but watching them lose would provide a few giggles on a dreary weekend. All out chaos on championship weekend, with all the favorites losing would garner a chuckle or two.

Best case scenario (at this point) that’s most likely not going to happen:
UGA beats the shite out of LSU while Utah absolutely obliterates Oregon. Utah somehow gets in over LSU.
UGA suffers another heart breaking playoff loss this time to Clemson who goes on to have a last second loss to Utah in the championship.
Bonus: LSU loses their bowl game because most of their players sit out.

Georgia losing would put a lot of doubt into fat Kirby's viability. He in essence would have the identical track record as Richt with a loss. I'd rather we only worry about one other SEC power than 2.

LSU. I lived in Atlanta for a long time and went to our game vs GA. Sat in my seat (season tickets). worst fans I have ever seen. Heckled us until we started kicking their arse! And Kirby losing would be a bonus!
