This is where we really miss Jase. His ability to catch passes out of the backfield could have been a game changer Saturday.

Agree - I think we've missed the hell out of him all season. It feels like forever ago but remember how many times he and B-Rob made huge catches in the flats those first 3 weeks?
He was really shaping up to be a big time contributor this year. Losing him was huge.

Bama has a chance because UGA is trotting out Stetson Bennett. They can't block Bama's front either. This game will come down to Bryce Young making plays.

I hope our OL gives him time to make them.

That ain't gonna happen. Bryce Young is gonna have to earn that 5* and NIL 7 figure deal.

Heisman on the line too

Can we chill with the NIL stuff and speculation that it is negatively affecting players? In a reality where a coach of a top 6 team with a legitimate chance to make the playoffs bails for more money I don't think we can blame players.

His post went way, way over your head.

Fyi, here is one of the CFBGraph site guys explaining the reasoning and the numbers behind their projection for UGA/Bama
CFBGraphs UGA/Bama Discussion
Basically he says their method doesn't always track perfectly in terms of point total, but they feel strongly about the margin. So it could easily be more like 23-23.
Pretty interesting and definitely leans into some of the matchups we've discussed in here.

The CFB Nerds model had it 28-28 though both predicted 10 point wins by UGA

Did you factor in the secret pick-up the blitz packages?

and Tennessee threw for 330 yards and 6.9 YPA. And their outside WR got hurt early in the game.
Hooker left A LOT of yards on the field early in that game too. Had dudes running wide open down the field and just missed them. Would have been some explosive gains that could have changed the outcome of that game.
Hoping BY doesnt suffer the same fate of being too amped up to control his accuracy, because I think our WRs will have chances against their secondary.

Most can tell dubose was kidding, but you can't blame folks for being defensive about the NIL stuff. Just this past Saturday there were posts left and right about the million dollars he's making and not earning it.

The only thing I'd add would be if Brob isn't ready to go Saturday, I really don't see us trying to run it 27-28 times. I could be wrong because BoB seems to be a "beat his head into the wall until something works" type of guy but if we were smart we would take our chances with the pass game and only rush 15-20 times at most

I agree, I haven't felt this less confident in the offensive staffs ability to put together an offensive game plan in a long time. I just have no confidence BOB will do what's necessary to attack Georgia. Hope I'm wrong.

Trust me, I hope we're both wrong. Just seems like we're winning despite our lack of ability to call plays on offense to put us in favorable situations

I'd like to think the same thing, but.......yeaaaaa
I will say that I think we did do that we'd still substitute quick passes as subs for the run game that would more or less be the same in terms of yardage (2-4 yards or so).

I mean a former NFL coach and any coach can see what happens when you have zero plays to spread the defense out.... right?
