The problem isn't the hire itself, it's that there are better coordinators with better records that we could afford to go buy out from under other schools.

I laughed at some of you guys criticizing the hire and also the fake field goal decision.

When everyone know's its a fake is horribe. They where out there with the regular def expecting it. Also, for a fake to work, you much have a fg kicker on the field to give the impression that you are attempting a fg which we didn't.

We don't know his coaching spot yet, but this feels like a lazy knee jerk hire.

I really wonder if some of you have paid attention to Saban’s hires in the nearly 13 years he’s been here. He doesn’t operate like that. He’s always went with familiarity and coaching ties. It’s been rare to step out of his circle for hires.

I sure hope it's not as OC. Any idea who they are looking at for OC?

What would the benefits of this be? Recruiting? Knowledge of player personnel?

Well typically pros don’t hire just anyone for OC. He turned it down. Maybe Saban sees something. We judge him on 1 game. But we’ll see. I’m concerned.

Tider 95, who would you hire? You mentioned lots of coaches out there to choose from?

And if there is lot of them out there, then why can’t the greatest coach in college football get one of them??

How awful was he? The numbers don't look that bad.

There are none. It's just a bad hire. He's a trash playcaller who already cost us one championship.

I'm judging him off of his other stops, particularly Atlanta.
