My point was that he knew he wouldn't be the real OC with Kingsbury at Arizona and no one else wanted him. He's wasn't looking to come back to Bama. It was his only option to actually be an OC. You know good and well that Kingsbury is going to run that offense. If he really wanted to work here, he wouldn't have left so fast last time.

It's been a bad month to be an Alabama fan. Culminating with Sark after dark. I didn't put much into the dynasty over talk until now. This is bad. I watched enough Falcons games this year to see this guy sucks. They only had good stats because they where behind so much and airing it out into prevent defense's

2005: Fourth down playcall let Texas back into the BCSNCG
2006: #2 USC Managed 9 points in a loss to unranked UCLA, costing them a chance at a national title
2007: Managed 23 points against a 4-8 Stanford team when favored by 41, costing USC a chance at a national title
2008: Managed 21 points against unranked Oregon State, costing USC a chance at a national title
2009-2013: Made Washington completely irrelevant, never managing more than 8 wins at a program that would make the playoff just three years after his departure, players say he would show up drunk to practice or not show up at all
2014-2015: Made USC completely irrelevant, embarrassed the program with alcoholism and drunken outbursts
2016: Single biggest reason for Alabama's defeat in the CFPNCG
2017-2018: Single biggest reason for the Atlanta Falcons decline from an overtime Super Bowl loser into a Wild Card and then non-playoff team
2019: Another chance at Alabama
Wish that we all could fail in every meaningful position we've ever had, routinely show up drunk to work, and keep finding desirable jobs.

Don’t try and understand NFL decisions. Have you seen the records of active NFL coaches?

I am hearing that Saban is getting the structure in place for him to retire after winning the NC next year. Sark at OC/QB, Jeff Stoutland OL (to get the young guys ready to take over), and Tosh at DC (teaching him the ropes for a couple of years). All of this in an effort to make things as smooth as possible when Kiffin comes back next January as the new head coach. Saban wants Kiffin to have what he needs to bridge the first couple of years after Saban retires.
OK I did not really hear that but wanted the pet-heads-coming-off crowd to have something else to melt about.

They are not a knee jerk type of organization
Not sure about that...they just fired both coordinators and a couple of other coaches after the season ended...
And after their Super Bowl collapse a couple of years ago, they immediately fired Brian Cox for his locker room banter after the game. Reportedly he was pissed saying something like, "We're Super Bowl champs if we run the f@#$&ing ball..."
