Watched it.

I can see why Rolando McClain ended up having the life that he did. Unless he changes his tune in future episodes, the dude's quite the a-hole. The man seems very bitter.

Grateful for Saban. But sometimes, I wish he’d go away

That’s how we feel about you. Except for the “grateful” part. And the “sometimes” part

I would like for Bama to be about the current team, current players, current coaches. That’s all I’m saying. It has to feel shitty for Deboer sometimes knowing Saban always overshadows him from the suite section. Saban didn’t care about the Near because the beat was long gone (RIP) long before he was at Bama.

And have you ever listened to his congress meetings?

I think it’s good that Saban retired, remains an ambassador for our program and the sport writ large.

I don’t think I am the only one.

I don’t think he worries about it at all. DeBoer isn’t wired that way and doesn’t focus on any of the pressure or shadow mess. If he did he wouldn’t have come here.

Or he would’ve left for Michigan to take over for a guy who got fired for getting his secretary pregnant and threatening to kill himself with a butterknife. No pressure or shadow there.

Watched the first two and had to stop so I could get some sleep. Was getting too amped up.

This is a top notch documentary.

The Rolando segment in the second episode will have you ready to bust some heads.

Yea the way he came off in the first episode I was like dude you still haven’t grown up.

But 2nd episode he changed his tune and said some good things. His locker room clips and the story of him busting that safety in practice makes you remember how much of an absolute dog he was.

Probably the biggest dog we’ve ever had on the field at LB. And him studying the playbook after that wreck turned him into Peyton Manning for the defense, he knew everything.

Man I’d kill for a Rolando McClain on Bama teams now

It’s really tempting to binge this whole show, but trying to savor it. I’ll do two more tomorrow night
