when did I ever say Holden "sucked"?

The receivers were BAD. First team receivers were Holden, Baker, and Bolden. If that was our starting WR corps to open the season, that would be the worst WR corps we've ever had under Saban - including 2007. Baker and Holden were dropping passes all game. Their athleticism was mediocre. Everyone remembers that crazy one-handed catch by Holden, but that was a fluke.

Why are we acting like the last few years of wideouts are the norm? From 2007 to 2016, we would have at best one NFL caliber receiver starting. Other years Marquis Maze was our #1 guy

What exactly are you basing this off of besides an "eye test?" Because he has never done anything in a game, sans garbage time.

So just because he had one big run versus the 2nd worst rushing defense in the country in New Mexico State, that’s enough to convince you he’s going to for sure be great?

Blake Barnett had a great TD pass versus USC in 2016

Not worried about WRs; we have loads of talent, speed but little experience. That will come with practice and game experience. We won’t reach the levels of last two years, this year, but we will be good. Very good.

You do realize that from 5 yards back John Metchie easily out ran Robinson. John Mwtchie is fast, but he is not the burner that Ruggs and Waddle were. Your number one running back that the coaches are confused on should not be caught that quickly by a wr.

Keilan Robinson runs a 4.34 retard. He was one of the fastest players on the entire roster

So either Metchie runs a 4.01, or you don’t understand angles when you’re watching film...

I’ll be honest, I was so disappointed in Aday, that I’m shocked the coaching staff didn’t get fired. Then they let KRob transfer!!!!!! If we would have fired the coaching staff, maybe the fourth string running back would still be here. Not sure who we blame for this atrocity, but heads should roll. It’s been about 6 months since Saban has won a National Championship, he’s clearly lost the ability to make decisions.

He might run a 4.3 out of pads, but not in them. That safety for new mexico state run a 4.3 too?

Who is this guy CrimsonClover???? It's like Saban N Bear on steroids..LOL The hyperbole is off the charts and the negativity is at an all time high. Relax, I think Saban has got this. You won't be dropping pearls of wisdom that he does not see. I am sure he will field some above average WRs for the regular season, and have some good backups for the 2nd team.

It's not like we are going to have to go 85% run..... However, with our OLine and RBs, I hope we run like hell and play action pass this year.

This is why you don’t build statues prematurely. If he doesn’t get this thing turned around by next ADay we might have to consider taking his down.

Hmm so I complement the QB, and say he’s good enough to take us all the way, I complement our outstanding TEs, but I criticize our (likely 2nd string) WRs, and say the running back who transferred out was perhaps our best back, and WOW the amount of butthurt is insane. Why can people on this board not handle the SLIGHTEST bit of criticism of the players/coaches. People on here act like you’re talking about their own kids or something.

So because I criticize our 2nd string WRs, and note how good Keilan Robinson is, I’m saying that our players suck, and that Nick Saban should be fired... sensitive bunch.
Not a single logical response. Not a single person with a mind that can say, “Hmm those receivers didn’t look so good on ADay. Hmm the Keilan Robinson transfer might’ve been a mistake by our coaches. 4.3 RBs don’t grow on trees.”

Do you have any solid proof that Keilan runs a 4.34 now? I would like to see that. I have followed his recruitment from High School days, even saw him on TV,and have never heard he runs a 4.34. Plus he has not played for a year and has bulked up in the interim.
Let's see how fast he is at Texas. I would be shocked if he runs as fast as you claim.

He ran a 4.34 at Penn State’s camp during recruitment. I mean idk why that’s so surprising. His speed jumps off the screen

1. Post less analysis.
2. K. Robinson opted out (quit the team) of 2020 on his own will. No one let him get away.
