D+ easily a D- if you don’t win that GA game which feels like it wasn’t even in this season any more.

He beat UGA, LSU, & Aubie so it can't be an F. Prob D+. For whatever reason, this never felt like a team - just a bunch of individuals out there playing football. In his post-game interview, he was asked about 2025 & he mentioned something cryptic about "people trying to tear it down from the inside".
I still think he's a good coach, but he's going to have to start proving it next year.

Can't be a F because we beat Georgia, LSU and Auburn (how embarrassing for them)...so I give him a C-. It's not like it's our 4th losing season in a row.
That being said, the Milroe thing has been bizarre. It's like CKD was blackmailed to keep playing Milroe no matter what. The stupid comments about Milroe's eyes, cares about the school, etc does make me want to drop it to a F.
Listen, I understand this ridiculous NIL BS era we're in right now...but I don't want a coach that's the locker room's bitch.
If we're done with Milroe I can call it a mulligan, but DeBoer has to find his gonads. Losing to 3 unranked teams with the talent we had is simply inexcusable...but QB play nullified alot of that talent.

Incomplete because DeBoer lost his left and right arms - Grubb and offensive line coach did not come with him.
The coaching staff needs to greatly improve or changes made.

Nor did Saban. Outside of the one game.
Is this "locker room" situation/story real?

Meh…neither had to deal with unlimited transfers after the previous coach retired or left so you just cannot compare…like at all

D-
If we don’t pick Beck off to beat UGA, it’s an F.
I can’t tell you what DeBoer is good at outside of recruiting…which isn’t totally in his hands.

Gonna be a C from me. Gets some grace for a transition period. Beats UGA, LSU, and Auburn.
Loses to horrifically outmanned Oklahoma and Michigan.
And losing to Oklahoma cost us the playoff...but maybe that was a mercy.

Being objective.... It's a C+.
It felt like all season something was going on with the locker room. Folks were unprepared for games. That is because of locker room cancers, as well, as poor coaching.

Would’ve said B+, but decision not to bench Milroe in multiple games compounded with today makes it a C

Just damn.

C-
9-4 honestly doesn’t shock me for a coach in his first year. There’s always going to be some growing pains.
Beating UGA, thumping a Mizzou team hyped preseason, and winning in Baton Rouge and still finding four losses is actually kind of incredible.

CKD needs to do a better job of motivating his players to get up each and every week. 25% of the games, we didn't really show up. I give his first season a C-. That's being generous

First year in the SEC. First year at the biggest program in CFB.
DeBoer will figure it out. (I hope). With that being said…. These things really frick with me.
- Unprepared Team
- Gosh/Gee I don’t know mentality

I tend to agree. DeBoer has a long, good track record at multiple levels. I think he knows how to coach football. But the way he played he QB position this year was incredibly frustrating. Hopefully we don’t find ourselves in that position again.
Now, people say that this team was a QB away from being a contender. I don’t agree. We were bad at QB but we were also bad on the OL. I didn’t think we got any sort of consistency outside of Booker and Brailsford. That needs to get a lot better.
