True, oops and my bad. It's that in Holland we don't do the lbs stuff. It's kilograms for us.

I was told jp has added about 150lbs, give or take. i just hope he has the energy to do what needs to be done, if in fact he does come back.

i was the one that posted about his weight gain. we all know he started gaining weight while at ut. i got a call saying he had packed on about 150 total. i hope he has been in talks about coming back for a while now and has been working on his weight. either way, i still want him back for dc.

Just put Pruitt on Monujaro and he'll be fine.

Boz,

Are Bama actively trying to hire Schumann and Pruitt together at same time.

The fact that the SEC allowed AU to hire Freeze will pretty much make any reason they may use to prohibit Bama from hiring Agent Pruitt absolutely laughable.

I don't get this logic. They can easily say Freeze served his time out of conference at Liberty before he was allowed to come back. It's all going to depend on if Pruitt gets a show cause or not. If he does he's radioactive.

Yes. I’m guessing we aren’t sure on either one.

How long have you been on Mounjaro? I took my first shot this week. How quickly does it take effect?

Shocco,

This is exactly why folks like me with diabetes can't even get my pen refilled because of comments like this. People are using it to lose weight....

Pruitt has already been out of conference for two years, himself. If he were hired before a show cause were issued, there will be no sanctions on Alabama, per se. I don't think the NCAA would require his termination, either, that would open them up to being sued (and they know that a jury in Alabama wouldn't be very friendly). If he gets a show cause after being hired, they will place restrictions on his ability to recruit, though. The optics would certainly be bad for Alabama, too.

I saw him at one of his dad's games a couple months ago, and he looked the same.

He knows Saban's defense better than anyone except Kirby but is very close to Kirby in understanding. He has proven to be better than Kirby at simplifing the Saban defense for young players and has proven to be better than Kirby at ramping up the agression of the defensive attack.

He stepped out from under Saban to be the DC at FL State for one year and produced a fantastic defense that won the Natty in his first year. He then became the DC at UGA and started the transformation of their defense to what it is today. He laid the ground work in the system and recruiting that allowed Kirby to do so well their as quickly as he did.

When Kirby left to go to UGA, Pruitt came back to Bama as the DC. His defense was simplified from what Kirby/Saban did and was also much more aggressive.

Pruitt makes the Saban defense more adaptive and more vicious. Pruitt has some personal short comings that Saban has been the only coach in his entire careers who had his respect enough to keep those issues in check. The only other college level coach that had Pruitt's respect to that degree was Brother Oliver.

I have known Pruitt since he was 12 or 13 years old. While I am not a fan of him as a person, he is a fantastic coach and recruiter. His player evaluation/recruiting skill is on Saban/Kirby level. His management skill beyond DC sucks largely because of his personal short comings. He will likely never be a really good head coach at the college level.

Solid analysis. It's time for Pruitt to come back home, warts and all. If we want a hateful, aggressive defense, he's the man for the job.

Not to mention it'll be nice to have a better defense than fricking Georgia for a change.

Been on it since last June it works quickly but side effect can be harsh. Sulphur burps, stomach issues and such. It's worth it though. I can't even remember the last time I was actually hungry. My last check up my DR told me my cholesterol was actually to low and my A1C has been 5.9 or lower since I started on it and I'm still on the lowest dose. It's the best thing I have taken for my diabetes.

The NCAA doesn't require the termination of any coach with a show cause. It has a process that the school can follow to report and monitor if they want to keep or hire a coach with one. A handful have done it, but most don't for several reasons.

First, when it comes to hires whatever penalties it imposes on the coach can and usually do follow them to their new job. Auburn bit the bullet with Pearl because he was only a few months out from his ending when they hired him. He couldn't recruit for the first 5 months he worked at AU.

Second, it brings the possibility of immediate sanctions on the new program for simply hiring the coach.

Third, should violations be found while the coach is under the show cause are automatically considered more severe than if they'd happened to a 'clean' coach. Those low level violations that get reported by every program every year suddenly become a much bigger hassle.

I quit judging Saban's coaching decisions a long time ago. If he hires Pruitt, I'm confident he'll have systems in place to handle the situation but it's a risk far bigger than hiring Sark out of the drunk tank.
