Now I have no clue which is hard to project what portal guys are a fit

Here id the deal in my opinion it does not matter what your philosophy is as a coach. You have to get the personnel that can compete in the conference you play in. We end up recruiting pac 12 type players that’s what Alabama will be in a conference known for tough defense and smash mouth offenses that like to run the ball.

I’d bet that DeBoer told him he has a certain window of time to find employment before Alabama makes the announcement that we are parting ways so that he can make it look like it was his choice. This could’ve actually happened prior to the start of the playoffs. Maybe he can get Sheridan to take him to Michigan State or Shepherd to take him to Corvallis.

Good point. Saban did that a lot as well. He never wanted it to be “Saban fired….” so he let Applewhite and others find other spots first.

I really want to hear the OL news within Monday.

With four in the portal I expect at least four to be signed from the portal and wouldn’t be shocked at 6.

He would have 5 larger than average tight ends like brailsford on the o line as d line. We would be Washington all over again.

My point exactly. He’s 285. FFS dude is small for an OL in the SEC

I am entering the NFL Draft as well.

I'm 45 years old and haven't played football in almost 3 decades, but I'm ready to give it a shot.

Kinda saw that one coming, hate to see him go but hope he lands somewhere he can ball out. Good luck to him.

Don't blame the kid at all. Should have allowed him to fair catch F kickoffs this year instead of starting on our 15 due to stupid decisions by #17.

Williams needs to be returning punts. I know he fumbled and basically cost Bama a game....but he needs to have the ball in space. Thats what hes good at. Hes a terrible receiver

If our guys who are covering the punting teams gunners do a lousy job blocking (which is why Adams seldom got a return), it won’t matter who is the returner. Don’t believe me, go back and watch pretty much every punt.

By the time Adams fielded the punt, there were almost always 2-3 guys right on top of him 99% of the time.

Oh I agree. The ST was laughably bad. The ST coach position is one of several that need a huge upgrade
