Always took Sark as a Bartles & James kinda guy.
Takes a long time to get tanked on that.

Ty replacing Proctor would be kinda funny after the journeys those 2 had.
How long was Haywood committed to us in high-school again?

According to our esteemed online fanbase, Ty will need to be held at gunpoint until he has signed a contract.
But this is shaping up to be great news assuming no unfortunate incidents during the holding period!

He's going to hit some dates with the UA calendar for the Spring pretty soon if he's not signed and in classes. Gotta figure everyone else is getting closer on that too depending on semester start.
I figure schools have some VP that can sign that away if needed but who knows....

Some of these guys wouldn’t be Bama fans if the had to experience “93-‘07 I’m willing to bet
Perhaps I am misremembering but I do not recall 1993-1996 being bad years. That was Gene Stallings last three years and Bama was solid to spectacular every year of his tenure. Dubose came in in 97 when the effects of the first probation over Langham signing the cocktail napkin first began and it was the dawn of a mostly dark 10 year period that only ended when Shula was fired in Nov 2006. But I get the gist of what you're saying, there is a generation of Bama fans who only know Bama under Saban. And reasonable and patient, they ain't.

And there's the catch(s). All schools must sign it. And even if they do, I would expect fallback to the good old days.
The agreement would penalize the school that broke it. It would give power to the CSC and it would not be like the NCAA that had no teeth to do anything. Why there is a push for it to be signed.
quote:
Given the USSC's ruling, this is pretty much impossible.
Here are the major points.
quote:
In short, the CSC’s proposal would:
Allow the CSC to enforce rules, run investigations, and hand out penalties, which may include postseason bans, fines, reduction of NCAA or conference revenue distributions, loss of postseason revenue, reductions in the number of transfer athletes, or reductions in roster size or scholarships.
Require annual audits for schools that spend 75% or more of their revenue-share allotment.
Funnel disputes into CSC processes instead of the court system.
Hit schools or athletes who sue the CSC with major consequences, such as losing conference revenue or postseason eligibility.
That last part is a big deal. The agreement says if you challenge the CSC in court over its rules or an enforcement action—or assist another party like a state attorney general, state legislator or collective—you could be barred from the postseason for at least one year in any sport involved in the dispute and could also be forced to forego at least one year of conference revenue distribution.
The CSC can also restrict a program’s cap allocation. For example, it could limit a football program to 30% of the cap instead of the 75%+ most Power Four programs are reportedly spending.
Here is a link with contains the 11 page agreement. Many schools are pushing for any school that does not sign to not schedule the team until they do.
