Pavia can talk shite because at this point he's earned it. It's our players' job to shut him up. I don't think motivation was going to be an issue either way. Vandy whipped us last year, we owe them.

We have had this game circled for a long time. There won’t be a lack of intensity in this game.

Will there be a lack of execution is my question. You can have all the emotion in the world but with no execution it’s only that, emotion. We used to whip asses when we walked out like business. Other teams hyped on emotion. We just executed and did whatever we wanted.

I get it. We got our arse handed to us last year and we deserved it the way the team played. They get to talk until we beat them. I just keep looking at how they finished the year (7-6) and how bad their statistical rankings finished. Their schedule so far is not much different than last year. We should beat the doors off this team if we show up ready to go. Pun intended.

How do you figure that when Womack’s defense won’t be able to get them off the field? I’m not worried about our offense scoring, I’m worried their possessions will be limited. This is Womack’s worst nightmare offense and until he shows the brains and the balls to stop it, the pressure is on him and him alone.

FWIW I think Vandy is a much more complete team than UGA. I've watched them play this year and they are solid in all aspects. The offensive play calling is as dynamic as any I can recall and they execute. Don't know if their defense can match your receivers. Guess that's my biggest question. That and their defensive depth. I think it's gonna be a back and forth slugfest but what do I know.

I figure that last year's performance for Bama is not in phase with who they are now, FSU game excluded. And Vandy, is not who they appear to be. I get we can't set the edge. I just think we can at least match score for score. We do get to play offense, all anyone is discussing is defense. Their secondary isn't good.

He did the same big talking last year, and wasn't on ANYBODY'S radar........and he proceeded to "walk the walk." The kid's a player, and it's gonna take a really strong effort to win this game.
IMO, THIS game will be the window to Alabama's future....maybe for a long time to come.

That’s pretty much what I think, however, I do not think their defense is as deep or as talented as Georgia’s just based on what I have seen. I think we may have some success running, which will definitely keep the time of possession a little more equal.

I was shocked to see we are a10.5 point favorite. Line started at 14.5 I believe.
Still I thought it would be around 7-8 but the books know best.

I can't wait for the game to get here so fast. Lot of overthinking over here.

That's probably true. But Castellanos sucks compared to Pavia. Actually, to be honest I think Castellanos just kind of sucks in general. Bama is the one good game of his career.

They had the ball for 42 minutes. We turned the ball over.
Last year was self inflicted and they capitalized.
We will posess the ball more. We will make fewer mistakes. We have a better QB who can keep the chains moving. We have a big mismatch with our WRs.
We are going to smoke them.

Playing at home is nice advantage this year.

Agree that not having Radio as our QB makes a gigantic difference. Ty will move the sticks, make the big throws and move the ball, AND not make back breaking mistakes.
I also think the let down from last year, the embarrasment has stuck with our guys. Playing at home is huge as well. Not saying Bama destroys them but I think Bama is going to surprise a lot of people and wins a very physical game.
I'm hoping Pavia gets hit early and often, not cheap shots but if he's got the ball and the whistle hasn't blown and he hasn't gone out of bounds or hit the ground, I hope several of our guys knock the living crap out of him often.

I think this game will be like the Johnny Manziel rematch, high scoring, Bama wins in a shootout.
