I've been fairly outspoken about my disdain for Gus Johnson, but after the game, I've decided he's toned down some of his annoyances, thus is now tolerable. I'll give him a 7 of 10.

Joel Klatt, I've been ok with his delivery although an anti SEC guy. He, too, I will give an above average score of 7/10.

I’d be fine if Klatt never did a Bama game again. I don’t mind Gus.

Strange, I couldn't stand either one. Klatt talks out of both sides of his mouth. He said there was nothing malicious about the hit on Ewers, but later said it was a dirty hit. He talks in the moment and has zero courage of his alleged convictions. As shitty as Danielson is about going on and on about a random play 3 quarters ago, at least he stands by his talking points.

Gus Johnson is just a louder Beth Mowins.

Klatt is ok, Gus is awful, but he wasn't as bad as usual yesterday.

Gus is a massive Big 12 homer.

I don’t get why people here have a hate for Joel Klatt. He was a big hater in 2015 because Nick Saban’s QBs hadn’t reached that transcendent level or he hadn’t recruited as such. He pretty much a Bama knob slobber now.

I noticed that when you actually care about the game, you don't notice Gus Johnson as much. I'm sure he's still annoying as hell but I can see why B1G and Big 12 fans don't think he's that bad

I just like the fact there were less commercials. There was a time out taken with out a commercial break.

Huh?
Seemed like a bunch to me. Even seems ESPN broadcasts have increased in commercials

I barley even listen to the commentators, probably cause I can’t hear too good anymore. They did give a good explanation about the safety/roughing the passer/ targeting thing in the end zone though. Then the refs took the roughing the passer off because the ref shouldn’t have said it. Lol are you kidding me?

I really disliked the Fox broadcast. Too many commercials and their replay angles were very poor and many times were just absent.

Awful. Gus Johnson just screams constantly. Klatt can be okay at times but also annoying at times. Gus Johnson was just horrible, though. Thank goodness they aren’t calling anymore of our games.

What game were you watching? There was one point where they went to commercial, came back for two plays, went to commercial, came back for a kickoff, and went back to commercial immediately after the kickoff. So we had 3 football plays with 3 commercial breaks. The amount of commercials was every bit as bad as CBS.

It was a lot in the first quarter. Honestly I think it helped us. I was worried about our defense being on the field so much after Jase's run but we had a million commercial breaks which let us rest.

Gus Johnson just constantly screams, it gets super annoying any game no matter what the teams.

Klatt I can live with

I turned off the sound on TV and switched to Chris Stewart late in the 4th. Klatt was predictably terrible.

This is a joke right? At one point, I believe after a score, they went to commercial and then immediately after the kickoff they went to more commercials. Thought it was cbs there for a min.

Even when Bama was ahead, those two asshats kept saying “we’ve got an upset brewing here in Austin!” If I heard that one more time, I was going to scream.

Gus was pretty bad. Or maybe it was his spotters because several times he said a pass was complete while the refs were waving their arms signaling incomplete. Nessler and the guy that calls with Todd Blackledge are the only decent play by play guys working college games now.
