Inexcusable loss after Oats talked about intensity and defense in his press conference. Came out and allowed a shite Ole Miss team to look great on offense.

All Ole miss did was make mid ranges. Only scored 80. We just have too many poor offensive players.

We could have stolen at least 2-3 more possessions with them in pressured 1 and 1s. If we miss a shot, the guy that rebounds for them is likely a bad FT shooter. If we make it, they have to make both to just keep up with us. Oats is supposed to be an analytics guy…but when we need him to be, he turns into a coach that sucks.
We made the right call and had the ball with a chance to win it. We jist failed to convert at the rim like we did all game.

Not piling on any one player, all around didn't play well. But that last play, Sherrill is what, 6'10, 6'11 with a 7 plus ft wing span and when he gets the ball to win the game, right underneath the basket, he jumps maybe 3 inches off the floor and basically tries to shoot it from the hip. Frustrating.

This team ain't had any real tourney aspirations other than being in it past the first week and right now I don't even think that is sure thing.

They hit a lot of tough shots. You have to tip your hat. At the same time, don’t think we had the intensity at the start of the game we needed.
