Keelon looks like he will be special. If he is comfortable back there in SEC play, watch out.. Jayden Daniels 2.0.

Jayden Daniels is a good comparison. Keelon is cool, calm collected in the pocket. Completed passes all day today to receivers I didn’t see. Incredible vision of the rush and receivers downfield.

Anyone got good highlights or a bootleg?

Daniels is one of the most elusive runners at quarterback that we’ve played against ever in my opinion. He’s every bit as good as Deshaun Watson. If Russell can be anywhere near as good as those two then damn.

Their legs made those guys so dynamic, but their ability to throw accurately on the run was the real game changer. I believe Russell has “it”. Will take some time to develop with processing and reaction speed, but this dude looks like he will be a great one.

But again, this team will go as far as the OL and DLs allow. Have to be “very good” in both those rooms at a minimum to do anything as a team this year (every year).

The site is trending down Bigley.

It’s obvious at this point. Huge difference.

I think that the defensive line will be very good and should have quality depth. The offensive line is the question mark for me.

Yup I just got back from the game. A lot of youth there today and was afraid something like that was going to happen. As we were leaving a fight was breaking out. Looked like a teen takeover that I’ve seen videos of lately

A-Day has become the gameday experience for hood and trash.

I didn’t go today and by all accounts I’m glad that I didn’t. Absolutely insane and ridiculous that stuff like this is happening in Tuscaloosa. Walt Maddox needs to get things in order and fast.

That’s a pretty simple fix imo. Can’t be civil with uncivil ppl.

Which is a shame because this is a great event for families especially if you have young ones that don’t appreciate the regular season games. Yeah that crowd was definitely rough looking all around

Partly because it's free, A-Day has become an event where people from out of town come to the Strip and cause trouble. Unfortunately, some of those people come armed. This is already a problem to some degree on the Strip after a lot of games, but it's far worse on A-Day. I'd have to assume that the Strip was already flooded with cops, so it's going to take extra measures to get this particular event under control.

What’s up with the serial down voters?

LSU and Auburn trolls here getting upset that Russell will be slicing up both of those defenses pretty soon

Because JD wasn’t killing it as a redshirt freshman behind the youngest OL in the entire SEC by a mile. If we make the playoffs, KR should win the Heisman and our new OL coach should win assistant COY.

Probably Junior JD (or his first year at LSU) in year 1, in relative command much of the year with some plays overestimating his abilities and flashes that make your jaw drop. Once he settles in mentally and things slow down for him, you will be watching a NFL first round pick.

I don't know what the frick you're trying to say here but if you watched the QB play today like I did then you'd know our best shot to make the playoff is redshirt freshman Keelon Russell. If Mack starts we'll lose 4 or more games. It was night and day between them. And everyone in the stadium could see it.

You seem like a well adjusted and reasonable person. One that would understand that the youngest OL in the SEC coupled with the youngest QB probably doesn’t mean we’re going to go 12-0, win the SECCG, and blow through the playoffs to win a NC. Also the kind that doesn’t scream for coaches heads when the players do exactly what all the other players in their shoes did…nah, you’d never do that. You’re too emotionally controlled for that
