Jacobs seemed like a waste of a scholarship. We have a dozen guys that can play the hybrid LB/S position and didn’t need him.

Ryan Williams cancels Texas visit

Hmmm…might mean nothing for us but then again it might be something.

Looks like Jabbar Muhammad may be trending to Oregon based on the X/Twitter noise.

The 6-foot-5, 253-pound Finau is ranked as a four-star recruit and the No. 18 interior offensive lineman in the 2024 class by 247Sports. In a written evaluation last November, 247Sports national recruiting analyst Greg Biggins called the Polynesian Bowl All-American “a versatile lineman who could play just about anywhere on the offensive line but probably projects best as an offensive guard right now. He plays tackle at the [high school] level as well as defensive end but frame wise, we think it’s a good bet he slides inside.

“He’s a naturally strong kid who can maul opposing linemen at the point of attack and shows the feet and athleticism to easily get to the second level. He’s still new to the position and has some rawness in his game but made a huge leap this past off-season. He’s much more comfortable in pass-pro, doesn’t panic and his technique has really improved as well. He’s a fiery competitor and has the necessary nastiness to excel in the trenches.”

Quinten Reese (committed) - not sure where staff stands, haven't heard anything either way.

Sounds like Reese has a spot.

DeBoer and company visited him today.

253 pounds is way too light and would take 2 yrs to get his weight where he could compete in the sec. We need to add 40lbs of muscle to him not the 20203 OL line diet.

Y’all all need to shut the frick up about these dudes weight. Dude is no 18 in his class and you think he can’t play because he wasn’t heavy enough to be included in Bama 2023 lard arse experiment.

Not every productive lineman is over 3 bills.

a 6'5' 18 year old who's 253 lbs could easily pack on 25-30lbs of muscle in a year

Yeah he’ll grow but like I said he’ll need time to get the right weight on.
