I wouldn't say that as much as 10 years ago most of this area was farmland and considered out in the sticks. The RTP sprawl finally made its way out here

Are you in Johnston County? I’m in the Triangle a lot for work.

Raleigh is probably the only place I’d consider relocating to from Birmingham.

We lived out in Clayton for about 10 years, have been in Holly Springs for the last 4 or so. Absolutely love the area; even with all the growth, it's still a great place to live.

I’m not sure why it’s an issue for people to accept it’s okay to hire your friends if they are qualified. You get better results when you like the people you work with and that bond helps you through hard times.

Most staffs are made up of coaches with deep overlapping relationships. Nothing new there.

But it’s being labeled as “BBQ Buddies” by the resident chicken littles.

I like it. How does DeBoer persuade head coaches to take coordinator/co-coordinator jobs? amazing!

Awesome small town! Really like Smithfield too.

I’ve got a client with a hunting ranch in Harnett County that’s amazing. Along the Cape Fear River not far from Campbell U. Great area.

I hope he can keep Amos out of the portal.

I honestly think that Niblack and Amos are just seeing what is out there. They may be back in the fold.

I'm okay with it. They are loyal to each other and will do anything for each other it seems, I mean heck his offensive staff has followed him to how many places? More importantly these guys are qualified for their positions

A reminder why we kept Gillespie and Roach

They were 2 of the top 3 recruiters in the country in 2023

So are we just waiting on defensive position coaches now? Outside of Roach

Yes although no official announcements have been made by the university on any of the hires. Look guys I get a lot of you are young and haven’t known anything but Nick Saban and I get it with internet and message boards being what they are and now people get antsy about this hire BUT everyone who has been asked about this hire in sports has talked about characteristics of Coach KD and the one that sticks out to me is organization. IMO that is single-handedly the most important characteristic of any coach in any sport. Please do not allow what you read on this dumbass board influence your thoughts on this coaching staff. Either we trust Byrne to make the right hire or we don’t. I’m certainly not going to let the idiots on the rant influence my opinion. Give these coaches a chance and be bought in as fans. Nothing derails a program quicker than fans publicly bitching about coaches, every decision and players transferring when many times nothing can be done about it. Give them the opportunity to do their job and let’s see what happens. Plenty of time to crap on them if things start going badly during the season.

all the offensive coaches he brought over are significant upgrades from a coaching perspective, especially huff. He's maybe the best oline coach in college football

Waiting for someone to go look at their roster, and come back and pitch someone like they didn't discover him 15 minutes ago

"We should really go after Meshack Stewart. He's 5 foot tall and missing his left foot, but his snapping is ELITE."

It’s pronounced Ma’ Shack and it’s his right foot. Poor thing just walks in circles.

Never have to worry about ineligible man downfield penalties.
