I know Saban wants to keep everyone happy, but Hurts just can't run this type of offense as effectively as Tua. It's not a knock on anyone, it's just the truth

I’d like to have gotten another look at the pass to smith. Couldn’t tell from the angle of it was catchable. I thought it was. Either way I absolutely despise that series. Let Jalen come in and run Wildcat in short yardage if you want to. Otherwise wait until the game is totally out of reach in the late 3rd/4th to get him reps.

To add on to jalens obvious struggles it probably doesn't make it easier after seeing tua light it up.

a good pass there and its 6 and the problem is that is how a lot of his downfield throws wind up.

Jalen just has no touch on anything beyond 10-15 yards. If you want to run a 100% RPO based offense he can probably do that, but that isn't what Saban wants. Just roll with Tua.
