Seems like he is homesick.

Time to head home to Texas, Ohio, Georgia, or Florida .

Kidding, kidding. But I've been reading all the top notch points the fine posters here at secrant - Bama board have been making about our financial status and I think that, given our overwhelming poorness (we're asking fricking Iowa where the grey poupon's at!), we should just go all Karl Marx in our recruiting pitch from now on and get guys on board who want to overthrow the bourgeoisie players like Florida State, Georgia, and Iowa.

Short sighted. Pros aren’t guaranteed. The 100 k is.
Let’s say the average college life span of a first round draft choice is three years. And he’s getting 500 k a year.
1.5 is good money. But after the first year, another team bids him and he get a150 k a year raise. That’s 300 k over the span of the remaining two years. That’s not chump change. At least in my world.
Throw in the fact that he may play 7 years in the nfl.
These kids don’t have extended work segments like the rest of us do.
In football, more than any other sport, you have to get the money and as much of it as you can, as fast as you can.
I’m sure Bo Jackson is very well off but would have made a lot more money long term if he would have told the raiders to frick off.
Just my opinion.
And prolly Prothro’s too

I don't actually believe this had anything to do with money. Green things scare Proctor, as you can see by his physique.

Kadyn Proctor is expected to transfer to Iowa per multiple recruiting services, the school that originally outbid Alabama for his services, per himself. Ultimately, he ended up with the Tide anyway.

If Proctor transferring to Iowa due to homesickness is true then Bama isn't necessarily getting cooked by Saban leaving alone.

20 left prior to Saban retiring
8 left after Saban retired due to 30 day portal (Money / Homesick).

Granted we have a long way to go but let's keep perspective.

So he’s not confident he can get to the pros?

$100k before taxes vs being coached by the dude whose players just won the award for being the best at their position, which happens to be the position you play

That some shite advice lol

They'll score a whopping 6.2 points per game.

Going to be funny when Pritchett is developed into a high draft pick by this new OL coach and gets selected before Proctor.

I’m not all that upset by this. If he lost some weight and improved his footwork, great. As poor as that was considering he was rated a 5 star I was surprised.

Losing starters isn’t good, but losing guys I feel are irreplaceable is the real issue. Other than the secondary I don’t see a huge problem.
