It took one year of the 12 team playoff to completely take the sting out of a Thanksgiving home loss as a Top 5 team to your unranked rival

In better times, Columbus Ohio would’ve burned to the ground that day

Man, looking at that list I see a lot of poor evaluations. Don't miss the overwhelming majority of them.

We got a pretty decent slate of games for Week 1 this season:

Seriously, how the hell are Christian Leary and Roydell Williams still playing? They must be in year 8 of playing.

This will be his 6th year. Did he get an injury year or can he claim 2020 as a covid year?

No idea how he can get that many seasons without one of those coming into play.

I didn't see a non-Alabama hoops thread, so I guess I'll put this here. I know vert isn't everything, but is Broome just terribly unathletic?

Broome never seemed terribly athletic to me, but he is great at use his body and strength to get the look he wants, and he has some shooting range.

CFP executives in a call today unanimously adopted a move to “straight seeding” for this year’s playoff, sources tell @Yahoo Sports.

Teams will be seeded directly on the rankings, 1 thru 12, eliminating the concept that designated the top 4 seeds for conference champs.

The decision was expected to include a financial compromise to continue distributing $8 million to the top four-highest ranked conference champions even if those teams are not seeded in the top four.

I was listening to the Sirius XM College Sports channel on the way in to work this morning. The show had the head coach of North Texas, Eric Morris, on as a guest and he said something that absolutely blew my mind regarding the current state of college football.

He said 90% of all underclassmen that played in their conference (AAC) last year have transferred out.

90%.

That is insane.
