So in every NFL game there is a concussion? Brady and Rodgers have had multiple concussions? This is first I’ve heard of either statement. It might explain Rodgers behavior, but for real I’ve had two over twenty years ago and still have side effects from them but time has made them less and less frequent.
I’m in the Tua needs to retire camp, you only get one brain, take care of it. Migraines suck arse.

Kiper isn’t exactly infallible with his QB evaluations. He pounded the table for Levi’s and still defends him.
Here’s the bottom line. None of us can control where JM is drafted. I think it is unlikely that he will improve his short and intermediate passing skills much during this season. And go back to the drive when we settled for the FG against Georgia and notice that there were ZERO pass plays called when we got inside the red zone. This shows us that the staff did not trust him not to throw a pick down there and wanted to preserve a FG attempt. That is a BIG red flag.
The NFL has become a dink-and-dunk throwing league with those plays basically replacing a lot of what used to be running plays. If a QB can’t read coverages, call line blocking assignments and accurately place those short passes, he doesn’t fit it most offenses. Look how Jalen Hurts still struggles with those things and how it is holding back the Eagles offense.
Can JM still be a Top 10 pick, improve his game and sign a massive second QB contract? Yes. So did Hurts and now it may hamper Philly for several years to come.

Hope milroe goes bottom of the 1st round to a good team, let him sit and learn for a bit. I'm sick of seeing our guys go to train wreck teams that ruin them

It's like you didn't watch the game Saturday at all. His short to intermediate passing diced up UGA. It was why he was statistically better against the blitz than when they didn't blitz. You have no idea why they didn't call a pass play in the redzone on the FG drive and to leap to the conclusion that it was because they don't trust him is absurd. The pass to Jam for the TD was from the 16 yard line and it was probably the best pass I've ever seen him throw. They also chose to pass instead of run on the 2 point conversion but yeah they don't trust him to pass in the redzone.

That is simply a product of the draft system in place. Unavoidable, unless of course you are someone already filthy rich like Deion and his boys who can try to dictate which teams can draft them.
Just look at New England now. They took Drake Maye and he is now on a team with much worse personal than when Mac got there. Not sure there is much hope for them to get much better in the next few years either. The front office for the Pats appears highly dysfunctional.

Couple of rebuttals:
On the Jam TD, we put him in motion on that play and the UGA LB followed him across the field which was a dead giveaway to JM that it was going to be man coverage on him which is what we wanted. To his credit, Milroe threw a perfect pass for the TD. But later when Georgia was zoning us on the play where Dippre fumbled, that was not a pinpoint throw and they were able to knock it loose before the ball was really secured. So after that play the staff probably didn’t like the looks they were seeing from Georgia’s scheme and didn’t want to risk another red zone turnover. You have to look at these situations in context. I actually agreed with the approach at the time because converting the FG puts Alabama back up by three scores.
So now let’s see how good teams play us when the field is compressed like that in a tight game, and how we attack it offensively. Fair enough?

That’s not how it works at all. Coaches don’t lose faith in a player over a single throw that could’ve easily been caught and certainly shouldn’t have been an interception. Milroe answered concerns about the short and intermediate game. If you watched that game and still have questions, don’t really know what to tell you. Any good QB evaluator will tell you that the biggest area left for Jalen to develop is mental/pre-snap recognition.

I think we already have that. Nothing more compressed than a 2 point conversion. And what did they call? Not a QB power that has been so effective. Or a read-option that he's been excellent at this season. Not even a goal line package with a hand-off to Jam or Justice. They called a pass play which he successfully completed to Bernard. I think that shows a lot of trust.

Mel Kiper also mocked Malik Willis in the first and Matt Corral to the Steelers at #20
Mocks mean absolutely nothing until the combine and interviews. That’s when you generally see actual feedback and scuttle from scouts

I am genuinely curious if your opinion of Jalen has changed at all after the game Saturday. He addressed a lot of your concerns in the game. Got the ball out quick, hit a lot of short to intermediate passes, stepped up in the pocket, threw to receivers before they were open, lots of positives.

This dude has some of the worst predictions I've ever seen. I wouldn't care or trust what his new opinions are about anything at this point after putting Milroe in the 5th round or lower.

Milroe will go 1st round. Everyone sees Lamar Jackson when that see Milroe. That's too much potential for a team to pass up.

Milroe is likely a 1st round lock now, but I'm not sure how high he will go.
With Ty Simpson next year and Keelon coming in, Bama is set at QB for the foreseeable future.

quote:if he can keep up how he played against Georgia hes going in the first round, probably unfortunately high. Early on in the game when Georgia blitzed, my heart was overjoyed when 1. Ryan WIlliams instantly converted his route to the hot route when the corner covering him blitzed, amazing stuff from a freshman who wasn't even an early enrollee 2. Milroe saw it just as fast and threw it into where the blitz came from with zero hesitation. When you see that kind of stuff you know something has clicked. Deboer is a great developer of players, and when the player has incredible latent talent, its going to be something special i think.
PFF has Jalen Milroe as the #1 ranked QB for the 2025 draft.

When UGA blitzed it looked like Milroe knew exactly where to go immediately.
In this clip UGA brings 6 and Milroe immediately finds Law in the middle of the field for a first down.
Here's another one where they blitzed 2 LBs and Milroe found the tight in where the LBs vacated.

Are you serious with this shite? Hurts is a top 10 QB in the NFL. Eagles struggles are not due to Jalen Hurts.

Quite suspicious that their account was created in Sept 2017 but then they all of a sudden started posting on 8/7/24.
Maybe they have been in a coma for 7 years.
