UT fanbase has 15 years of pent up frustration combined with a really good team (finally) combined with clearly smelling blood in the water with Bama and its QB situation. Throw in some College Gameday and it is going to be next level HOSTILE AND NASTY.

But man if Bama can thwart them yet again with the cards seemingly finally stacked in UT’s favor you are going have a UT fanbase completely lose its mind.

I’m ready for the spectacle.

Right on! We faced better UT teams in the 80’s and shocked them!

I expect us to win convincingly if Bryce plays. If Milroe plays I expect to win in a close one.

I think our defense will hold them in check for the most part.

Tennessee thinks they want that smoke. They don't.

This reminds me of all the talk before the Ole Miss game last year.

I’m hoping that despite Tennessee having very good QB and some dangerous skill players that Alabama still has the advantage in the trenches. UT wants to go as fast as humanly possible on offense so Saban, Golding and the defensive staff have to get the D ready to play fast, keep it simple and not get caught looking to the sideline, trying to sub, etc. Henry T needs to have a hell of a game in his role of on field coach/play caller.

If Bryce plays, we win a shootout.

If Bryce doesn't play we lose by double digits.

That's just reality after last night. Our D played pretty well, but let's not forget A&M is a BAD offense. Tenn is obviously much better. We won't be able to dick around on offense and expect a couple of big plays running the ball to save the day.

Going to be all about red zone defense. UT will move the ball. Gotta win those handful of big plays in the defensive red zone.

Tennessee is definitely one of the better teams Bama will face, but people overreacting to their win over LSU. LSU almost lost to the worst Auburn team since 2012. It’s also worth mentioning that Texas absolutely dominated Oklahoma yesterday. It doesn’t mean that Texas is great. It just means Oklahoma gave up.

90% of our pass attempts last night should have been quick outs and slants instead of the deep routes apparently called on almost every one. Yeah, the middle of the field was congested with A&M having their safeties playing up so much but deep drop/ slow developing pass plays didn’t make any sense. Maybe our receivers can’t be counted on to get separation on quick throws?
Sorta like with Hurts, when Milroe pulls the ball down he’s looking for a hole to run through while BY keeps looking for an open receiver all the way to the LOS.
I find it incredible that with a full week of practice, knowing JM was playing, there seemed to be no attempt to play to his strengths in our game plan.
With a game plan drawn up for Milroe’s abilities, eliminating turnovers and a normal Reichard night, yeah, Bama can and will beat Tennessee.

Last time we lost to UT there was no such thing as an IPhone; now there’s an IPhone 14. And Apple ain’t stopping production now. C’mon 15.

TL/dr: frick Tennessee.

I don't give a frick what the circumstances are. Alabama can't lose to Tennessee..... Alabama mustn't lose to Tennessee.... Alabama will not lose to Tennessee....

frick Tennessee.

If Young plays, we win by 7. If Milroe plays, we get embarrassed by 17+ and the sunshine pumpers have to face the truth.

They'll never do it. Within 4 hours of the game, they'll be all over here trying to convince everyone it didn't happen

only 17? we will lose by 50 plus

their WR are outstanding and Hooker is accurate... plus we suck defending 50/50 balls ....with the small sample size i thought ricks was better for us as corner locating balls in air

If we turn the ball over 4 times and miss 2 easy field goals we might. But hopefully we don't do that.

Good lord all the people terrified of Tennessee.

We will move the ball against Tennessee and give them problems on defense.

We moved the ball last night just had too many negative plays and way too many turnovers. Expected with a green QB.

Yep. Take the crowd out of the game by half and we coast to the finish. If not 100,000 people will be screaming and being ridiculous for 4 hours.

And what many people are worried is that may continue into the Tennessee game. It wouldn’t be surprising if it did

This isn’t some 4-8 Tennessee team. They seem to be legit top 15 team. And given this team’s struggles on the road over the last 2 seasons on top of having a young backup QB making his first career road start, it isn’t crazy to think Bama could actually lose

I don't think it's crazy to think we can lose, but these people predicting for us to be blown out is something else.
