I believe the staff views Booker as a tackle.

I wonder if the younger Brockermeyer is staying because they plan to move Seth over to guard and have James be center.

I think the older one is probably better and feels he can get more worth on an NIL deal. The younger one may still transfer but wait until after spring to see where he stands on the depth chart.

We have portal rankings now. Freaking NFL status.

I think they've had portal rankings for the past two years.

Alabama is #6 on the 2022 version of those rankings, just FYI for y'all

Denver made his way into the portal. Probably don't want to pursue this time.

LSU's Jack Bech in the portal. Seemed like a mismatch at TE. Not sure why they moved him to WR.

We could use him or Bell, huge upgrade for us

I think we should do what Georgia did and develop people like we are suppose to. We got plenty of talent all over the field but they've all lacked development.

He returned from surgery, right?
Heard something about that recently

Agree - but there are definitely areas where the portal is useful for strategic plugs. Georgia used it extensively in 2020 and 2021.
JT Daniels, Arik Gilbert, Derion Kendrick, Tykee Smith.

He's not a Brian Kelly type TE.

Braylin Presley - ATH & Shambre Jackson - EDGE, both 4* recruits in the portal
Any Bama interest that we know of?

Think more strength or lack thereof that led to him leaving. Also, the inability to add some much needed weight. He will get more money out at Texas though.

We need better coaching and development, but long term player development may never be what it was again. Georgia hasn't felt it yet, due to their current wave of success, but they will eventually face the same defections as everyone else. Players don't want to stay to be your depth, and portal transfers aren't interested in going to a school where they won't start.
