Mizzou is solid but how good are they? The only decent win they have is South Carolina. I think bama D matches up better with them than Vandy. Not sure about their defense.

Pretty sure the Mizz one is decently mobile as well. I remember watching him play for PSU in a game Allar was out, and he basically won the game with his legs. He’s no statue like Nuss

If it was easy it wouldn't be fun.

I was listening to something on Thursday or Friday that put our win probability against Missouri as the lowest of all our remaining games. The metrics suggest this is the toughest game left on the schedule. It was still something like 61 percent.

Jesus has nothing to do with this, and we want the team immediately focused on Mizz just like the reports that they were talking Vandy in the locker room after last game. Every fan should be taking about how hard next week is going to be as much as they can. Team needs to know they are going into a hornets nest next Saturday

I say this lovingly...its just a game...that you dont even play...no amount of stressing on your part will change anything. Take a chill pill

We have the hardest schedule in the country.

I'm not so sure about that.

Oklahoma already has played Michigan. They close with Texas, S. Carolina, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Alabama, Missouri, and LSU.

Man, you shouldn't let football get to you like this. On the list important things in life to be stressed about, football should be wayyyyyy down the list. Enjoy the wins and save the emotions for game time.

Why in the world would it be difficult to get your team fired up for Mizzou? Y'all are basically eliminated from the CFP if you lose Saturday, but 11am, Missouri ain't SEC, yada, yada, yada...

That’s correct, was lower than Vandy and all the rest according to ESPN FPI. I’m also not sure FPI takes into account scheduling nuances like them having an extra week to prepare (that’s worth 7-10 points in the SEC when teams are relatively close IMO).

Prior to the season, I mentioned the 2 games I thought we had the most chance of underperforming were Mizz and OU due to preparation disadvantage (not the 2 most likely to lose, but to underperform what we should do). This Saturday is a huge test of consistency and being ready for a team that is rested, at home, and playing “their Super Bowl.” If Mizz wins this game, they are a favorite for the playoffs as they still have AU, Miss St, and Arky on their schedule. Should be a tough game and hoping our guys are focused and ready.

Scotty - it’s just not that serious. It’s sports, and a sports message board. If anyone gets actual anxiety, anger, or sadness over sports or a sports message board, I’d highly suggest taking a break and going outside to enjoy the October weather (that’s good advice even if you don’t need a break).

Discussing and debating sports is fun for a lot of us, and I laugh at the people saying “don’t be miserable” or who are taking things too seriously. It’s possible to analyze sports and talk about them without being emotionally connected. Apologies if the “Missouri warning” impacted any fan’s happiness. That isn’t the intention of the discussion.

Man, some of our fans have become so damn soft. Scared of Vandy, terrified of Mizzou. Sack up.

We’re Alabama, we line up and play whoever is across from us and we don’t get scared.

ETA: dude in the stands next to me yesterday basically wanted to roll over and quit when Vandy was moving the ball. Just a total mentally weak individual. It’s wild.

Guess I should have put “fear” and “terror” in my last message. Don’t think many people are “terrified” about a sporting event.

Yeah, if that’s not clickbait, that’s pretty strong language

I have noticed that social media has caused a general over dramatization trend in our society, about almost every subject (sports, politics, etc.)

Missouri is hard to gauge like Vandy. They havent played anyone but South Carolina and cupcakes its hard to tell how good they are or are not.

Be honest, you melted after the OU and Vandy loss last year. The ones calling others soft are usually the worst melters and the ones with emotional connections to the outcomes.

They haven’t played anyone decent, but saying they suck is just as wild as being “horrified.”

Hardy is a great back, they are a good team and will be a challenge for us on the road. My point is, we should be excited for that. Fun, challenging games are what make this sport great. As a fan that’s what I want.

That’s a great way to put it, and probably what I’m most annoyed by. People just can’t enjoy things for what they are.
