Is he the starter next year? Serious question.

He’s an upperclassman and team captain. The only way he doesn’t start is if he’s hurt. We’ll just have to work around not having a short or intermediate passing game.

It's gonna be the same shite over and over. Inconsistency, terrible vision sprinkled with highlight reels. Never know which Jalen will show up

He's the starter barring something catastrophic happening in the "offseason". I'm just hoping he can progress and show growth as a passer. If not, we are in for another stressful year.

He is what he is at this point. He’s going into his third season and can’t make intermediate throws and gets flustered in the pocket. There should be a wide open quarterback competition this offseason.

These takes are absolutely ridiculous.

Other QBs will have all the opportunity they need to take the job.

Y’all have seen our absolute ceiling with him at QB. The blueprint for beating him is out there. If you can get after the passer at all, he’s a sack machine and scrambles into pressure.

He’s more interested in selling merch than he is playing quarterback.

There’s no room for a soph first year starting QB to improve? There’s no way to get a better OL than this year? Or a better OC?

This is the absolute ceiling an Alabama offense can achieve with Milroe?

What a shite take.

Is he suddenly going to develop a higher football IQ in the off-season?

That’s how it typically works, yes.

Milroe this year has shown he can be a good QB. The games in which we struggled was due to pressure coming from the middle. Texas and Michigan.

There aren’t that many QBs that can handle pressure like that up the middle and frequent low snaps.

Yes, he is the starter next year and our best chance to win.

Be honest, how would you feel if you Milroe entered the transfer portal and we had to play against him as the QB of Ole Miss or Texas? Would be scary as hell to face in a Lane Kiffin or Sarkisian offense (not hating on Rees, he’s just not those guys).

Bama beat UGA on a neutral field with Jalen Milroe and he was MVP of the game. The ceiling is pretty high with him.

He can get better. He already improved throughout the year.

The thing I’ve noticed with him is sometimes it’s like his first start all over again. Granted the offensive line needs major work, but he never looks comfortable back there, it’s the 13th game and he just presses. Even when he scrambles it’s like he runs into the teeth of a defense, and his ball handling sucks.

I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I never felt like he couldn’t lose a game for Bama in a minute. So, the point that’s been made is he never gets better.

I’m looking at other SEC programs trotting out talented freshmen or

rs freshmen qb’s with quick decision making skills and scratching my head.

I’ve felt this way all season, not just after last night.

He wouldn’t scare me at all as a passer and he seems to think he’s a drop back passer over a dual threat runner. It’s like he has to fail at passing before he’ll commit to using his legs.
