Go to the BOL round table. There are posters there who will attack you like animals for criticizing Milroe. CrimsonKing16 is the worst. Others are bad. Anyone who defends him is an idiot or troll.
They're just mad that those of us who critiqued his play last season and during the offseason were correct all along.

So everyone bashing DeBoer is anti-Dutch?

GTFO of here with that bullshite. As soon as these guys started making money off football and started acting like entitled bitches, they get to receive all the derision that their NFL counterparts get.

No it’s not. Jalen Milroe is a filthy rich professional football player who deserves every syllable of criticism he gets.

Yup.
Now that they no longer pretend to be amateurs. I no longer have to pretend they're just kids doing the best they can.

He reminds me of Cam Newton to a degree. When it’s going good he’s strutting around like a proud rooster, but when he makes a mistake he folds like a cheap suit.
I don’t hate the guy or have any ill will towards him, but he’s reached his ceiling as a QB. He has no pocket awareness and has a panic attack going through his reads.

The best was seeing him twerk like a Chippendales dancer after scoring a touchdown against Vanderbilt even though we were still down a touchdown. Good stuff. Makes the program look classy.

He insists on calling himself a pocket passer.

It's amazing there are still Bama fans on the Milroe train. Just baffling.
I think we need to move on from Milroe…when he can’t run, I don’t think he knows what to do, and tries to force things. He had a horrid night, worse than even the TN game, the two early picks in the 2nd half were disastrous. The guy you replied to also said Milroe had a bad game; just because some fans believe we have problems more than just Milroe, doesn’t mean these fans are on the Milroe train…
Our defense gave up over 200+ yards rushing in the first half last night; they’ve had an issue sealing the ends all year long (I’m over 60, have an arthritic knee, and I think I could’ve ran to the outside on our defense in the first half last night).
I thought we should’ve ran our RBs more; as OK was focused on Milroe, the RBs got 9x the production in their combined 15 carries than Milroe did in his 15 carries. Dunno why we kept calling called QB runs when it was obvious that their whole gameplan was to prevent just that. I also wondered where the screens and flat passes to the RBs that we used so effectively against LSU were at. To me, this reflected poorly on preparation and play calling…
In the second half, when we were forced to pass after the INTs, our offensive tackles were like turnstiles as they had trouble with the speed rush on both sides…
Pointing out these other issues we had last night does not mean I’m on the Milroe train…the only train I’m on is the Bama train, win or lose…

Honestly Freddie Kitchens still probably takes the cake. I genuinely now feel bad for how he was treated at Bama

Yes, the defense has things to fix, but this is also a young defense and they only gave up 10 points.
10 points should have been enough for our offense to overcome.

That's what all these morons jumping teams for NIL haven't learned about the real world yet. They wanted to get paid now it's time put up or shut up.

He has hands down the worst attitude of any QB that I can recall ever seeing at Bama and is completely and totally DELUSIONAL about his abilities as a QB. Seems incredibly arrogant for no reason.
There have been others that weren’t great (Brandon Avalos, Spencer Pennington, Vince Sutton come to mind) but none had the crappy attitude Milroe has. Someone mentioned Freddie Kitchens. Freddie had a bazooka for an arm and because he was used to threading a ball between 3 defenders in HS, he thought he could do that in the SEC.
That said, Freddie clearly gave it his all every game. Got the crap knocked out of him often because of a terrible offensive line yet never complained. If he threw an INT, he would genuinely try to make a tackle. So, Kitchens shouldn’t be mentioned in the same breath as Milroe.

Exactly right. The effort on the attempted tackle was so pathetic. Jake Coker would have knocked the living crap out of the OU defender if he had thrown the pick.

The sequence after his long TD run against USF is perfect summation of Jalen Milroe. He starts dancing in front of the stands. Back completely turned to the field. Just totally oblivious that the TD was called back due to holding. He’s working the fans while everyone else is walking back to the other side of the field. It’s comical.
I would take every starting QB since Hollingsworth over Milroe. That includes Pennington, Blake Barnett, and Cooper Bateman.

Absolutely. He’s physically talented but a complete idiot and liability as a passer. He’s gotten progressively worse over the last two years as a passer. I blame the coaches for not having the balls to bench him. If any players want to revolt over him not playing then bench their asses, too. NIL has given players way too much power. When I played, my coach told us to hand the ball to the official when we scored. If I had gotten a celebration penalty my coach would have ripped me a new arse. The sport has almost become unwatchable.

Those are horrible traits to have as a starting QB
Not good at passing outside of chucking up a deep ball
Not good at reading a defense
Not good at leading a team
Not good at running through contact
Not good at having a pocket presence
fricking clown troll said "faster than he looks" and "sneaky athletic"
