spotted 30 nearly lost. After the script was up, and UGA tightened up the edges it was the same ol Milroe unable to move the chains. It took a boom one play bomb to win the game and without it we were going to witness the biggest collapse in Bama football history.
How do you come away feeling warm and fuzzy about Milroe ? The stat line does not tell the story

I was told that the way to beat Milroe was to blitz him. Whoops

It was offensive coaching. Not Milroe.
DeBoer mentioned that in his post-game and that some of the lag in second half was attributable to the coaching and other players not being in the right position for a play.
All credit to UGA for fighting back. They changed the tempo after that long drive that gassed the D, but that is a bit of an anomaly when you are in 4 down mindset your first 2-3 series out in the 2nd half. Bama's D was tired and then UGA opened things up.

Then the we all saw what happened second half. Couldn't sustain any drives and after being spotted 30 nearly lost. After the script was up, and UGA tightened up the edges it was the same ol Milroe unable to move the chains.

Ok, sure Milroe scored 4 TDs as Bama dropped 41 on UGA.
Ok, yeah he had 374 yards passing and completed over 80% of his passes.
Yes, we get it, he found 11 different guys.
Yeah, he got the ball out under 2.5 seconds, his fastest for a game ever.
Yadda yadda yadda, he threw the game winning TD with the game on the line.
Blah blah blah, he ran for over 100 yards.
We get it, he was the first QB in FBS to have 300 yards passing, 100 yards rushing and 2 rushing TDs against a top 5 team.
Sure, Bama is now ranked #1 in the AP poll.
So what if he's now the Heisman favorite?
... did he even play well enough to feel good about?

Of course Im serious; are you serious ?
Watched Bama piss away a nearly 30 point lead and fall behind in the 4th quarter because we simply couldn't pick up a few first downs.
Meanwhile Beck was moving the ball up and down the field with far less weapons to work with.
Before our traditional one play bomb for TD, it was looking like we were about to suffer the worst melt down since the 2010 Iron Bowl.
What is the vibe in here today if Ryan Williams doesn't go full phenom and save the day ?
I'm shocked everyone is turning a blind eye to blowing a freaking 30 point lead.
We are talking Falcons vs Patriots in the super bowl fricking melt down here.
All we needed were a few first downs in the second half.
Get your heads out of your asses !

What single player was most responsible for that 30 point lead?

I blame that more on the OC than Milroe. We have a large, physical OL. We should have been slamming it with the RBs behind the line. Of course, all the video game OCs on here would start crying about "getting conservative".

We're blaming Jalen Milroe for blowing a 30 point lead and not the staff and the defense?
And we are ignoring what a great throw the guy made down the sideline to allow Ryan to then do Ryan things? Seriously, is this a bit or something?
Georgia cut it to 15, Milroe led a FG drive to push it to 18 (3/3, 69 yards).
Georgia fumbles, we then run it twice and throw a swing pass (we're blaming Jalen here)?
Georgia scores a TD. Jalen runs for 4, hits Cole Adams for 15, is run twice into the LOS. We punt. Again, we blaming Jalen here?
Georgia scores a TD. We then screw up the kickoff and start at the 3. Run for 4, Milroe pass for 10 yards, run for 2, pass for 4 and pass for 3 on a wing to a RB in space with 1 guy to beat (where Justice just fell down like a sack of potatoes). Jalen?
Georgia scores. 1 play, Jalen throws bomb to Ryan, Ryan does Ryan things.
Yea, if we lost, I would not under any circumstances be saying "Jalen fricked that game up".

milroe, who threw for almost 400 and rushed for over a 100 against a team that hasn’t allowed a td all year and is now a heavy favorite to win the heisman just to be clear.

He is. He made up his mind about Jalen a long time ago and his ego won't let him admit he was wrong. So now he lurks waiting, hoping, begging for Jalen to screw up so he can spam "I told you so" across multiple threads on the board and call the majority of the board low intelligence because they don't agree.
It would give him more joy to watch Milroe struggle in a loss than shine in a win. We were a home dog and most experts predicted we'd score in the 20's but we dropped 41 and upset the #2 team in the country and he can't stand it because everyone is singing Jalen's praises.
