I understand why everyone is ready for him to go. I’m one of those people, but I’m good with him playing in the bowl game. Bama has been one of the few schools that the vast majority of the draft eligible players play in the bowl games. Even in those rare years that the team didn’t make the playoffs.

I think it says a lot about the standard and the players commitment to the school. The fans can have their opinions on Milroe but his teammates have a lot of respect for them. It’s good to see them get one last game together, even if it’s not the one they or we wanted them to be in.

Imo, Bryant picked his team, Stallings picked his team, Saban picked his team. Deboer cannot pick his team and has to live with Saban's toxic QB room? Give Deboer enough rope to hang himself. He is a big boy. Let him do things his way. If things don't work out, he will be gone in two years. This is why Milroe plays one quarter and hand over the reins to other QBs.

The level of pure hatred, jealousy, idiocy, and bullshite in these comments never ceases to amaze me. I seriously don't understand... At this point, I hope he stays just to piss some of y'all off. LOL

You’ll get over it. Milroe is dim witted and the fact you can see that is astounding.

Ah relatively new here. It's always nice when the assholes identify themselves for you.

You're not alone. Ive struggled with it since last year while reading on this forum we had a Heisman caliber QB.

Everything comes to an end.

Starting a mentally deficient RB at QB was at least a good learning lesson on how to kill a dynasty for future reference.

No team with title hopes can F around at QB in this modern era.

If he's mentally deficient, how'd he win what is known as the academic Heisman trophy?

just because hes good academically doesnt mean he has the mental makeup to process everything as fast as it has to be processed at the qb position. obviously there is more than enough data to support this, that came straight from him.

That's comparing apples to bowling balls. Bryant and Stallings didn't have to deal with NIL or the portal, and Saban didn't have to deal with it when he took over and was transitioning the program.

DeBoer did his best to keep the roster together, and Mr Popular Milroe was pretty much the best chance at doing that. None of his previous decisions at QB resembled anything close to Milroe, so there had to be underlying reasons why he kept trotting this dude out there every week.

I saw this in the Army. Guys were ridiculously book smart but couldn’t process decisions real time when shite hit the fan. It takes a special talent and years of experience to do so. Just my .10 Cents.

Hell I was signal corp in the guard and I saw people who didn’t have the composure to handle one of those 14 hour days you have when setting up all the network and radio infrastructure in an area of operation.

Some people just aren’t adaptable enough to handle emergent situations. They were made to be in a cubicle farm with a reliable 8-to-5 routine.

Yeah, the crazy thing is last year Milroe actually was pretty good under pressure. Against OM, A&M, UT, AU, and UGA he was clutch in the second half making big time throws, and runs. He was the opposite this season for the most part. Guess that may have been the Saban factor. Or he let all the hype get to his head.

Don’t doom us all because you want to prove a point lol.

In all seriousness, I hope he gets to the league and does a great job and has a stellar career. I’m just ready to see what’s next from a new cat.

He's a sports management major. It's a major that basically exists to keep athletes academically eligible. I'm not going to sit here and call him stupid, but it's silly to act like his GPA with that major means anything.

He’s not very smart when it comes to football IQ. Or at least not on the field. You know how some players say the game “slows” down for them and things start to click? For the Milroe it’s the opposite. If anything the game seems sped up for him this season compared to last

He may be a very bright guy, the problem is I don’t know that his processor is fast enough to read and make decisions. Just like you can’t teach his straight line speed, you also cant teach processor.

I get criticizing the guys play on the field, but criticizing his intelligence is just plain ridiculous and ignorant.
