To be fair to Simpson, the sacks he took were the OLs fault, not his. McClellan was playing tag with blitzers.

But i think this is an overreaction to Milroe. He has improved each game.

I completely disagree that Simpson sucked in his chance. I thought Buchner did. Simpson started 0-4, but two of those were throwing the ball away, one hit the TE in both hands, and the fourth wasn't a great decision, but the WR still got a hand on it. Had he not rifled it, it would have been a good play. After that he went 5 for 5.

I agree with you…but I think he’ll get killed out there behind that OL…

I don’t think anyone is crazy for thinking Milroe sucks. He does. I think the blind fandom of the other guys is crazy

19 upvotes and 1 downvote before Milroe bitch slapped you fellas.

That is to say that Milroe sucks half the time, but goddamn this team seems to know how to win. They don't fold, and that includes Milroe. You gotta respect that.

Nothing said about milroes ability to play QB changes because we won the game. Just like with the last Jalen, we win inspite of the QBs massive flaws in the pocket.

His ability to not get flustered and come out in the second half and make the throws we need to put us over the top is undeniable. As frustrating as he was in the first half, he threw some NFL quality lasers in the second half and he's now done that in the 2 biggest SEC games we've played this season. I admit that we could potentially get buried so much in the first half that we can't come back, but we now have 1 game to win to set us up from getting a playoff spot, and Milroe has had a hand in that.

His interception in the first half HIT THE RECIEVER IN THE SHOULDER... and bounced into a recievers hands.

Weird play to condemn a qb over.

Milroe had some terrible throws consecutively in the second half as well. We still only scored 24 offensive points. The defensive scoop and score made this game look way more comfortable than it was

I’ll not pretend like Milroe wasn’t inconsistent today. He was, just as he has been all year. He missed some throws and made some bad plays. He also made some very good plays. At times he was hurt by his teammates and at times he was helped.

Who is it that you believe is the right QB for this team?

There were back to back misses when he was looking to Burton. One of them we got a holding on thankfully. Not gonna say the throws were easy, but an average college QB should hit on one of the two. But he do some good things too.

24 offensive points.

27. Against a very good UT defense.
