First Round NFL draft pick. Still the third QB on Kiper’s list.
Those mock drafts and big boards will change a lot in the coming months. Guys like Will Levis and Mallik Willis were projected 1st round picks at one point but fell to the 2nd and 3rd rounds. I expect the same to happen to Milroe. Top 3 rounds should be a lock for him given his combine and interviews go decent

People keep throwing out the Richardson comp but I kind of think he favors Willis more. Hopefully he goes to a smart organization with good offensive coaches and gets a couple years to learn and get confident before he gets thrown out there.

plans to sign with an agent. If he doesn't, he could enter the transfer portal and keep open the option of playing another year in college.
Wait a second. I thought all these guys were allowed to have agents now? They aren't even hiding it.
That was might thought also. I figured Milroe has had an agent over a year or more.

If my dude got a financial advisor to invest his nil millions he won't need to work ever again, even without turning pro. But he probably didn't

The Raiders will draft Milroe with their top two first round pick because that's what the Raiders do.

Milroe has a lot of good qualities. His issues though are what would haunt us. If he was able to fix those issues even with this inconsistently coached team we would win every game just from him putting on the pads.
I don't get why people aren't smart enough to understand that
You were a leading Milroe fangirl here for years. You're really not in a position to insult anyone else's judgment on this issue. All of you people have gone from calling him truly great, ranking him as one of the best quarterbacks of the Saban era to now saying "Oh I've always said he was limited but has his moments." Just own that you were wrong on this. It would be less embarrassing than what you're doing.
Besides, what you've said here is no great insight. "If he just fixed all his problems, he would be a perfect player!" That could be said of anyone, by definition.

I could see a team taking Milroe in the late 1st so they get that additional year on the contract. Let him sit for a season, get comfortable in the league, and take his time working on his game. Steelers would be an interesting fit, he could take over the Justin Fields package and then down the road replace Wilson whenever he's ready. Seattle would also be another interesting team.
I just hope it's not the Titans. I don't think I can keep watching poor QB play on Sundays.

I hope it's none of the teams that are currently in a bad QB spot, even if they don't "plan" to play him early. Teams like that always end up panicking and playing the not ready QB way too early.

Would Gruden come back to them?

I'm thankful Milroe is going pro. It has been brutal watching him at times

Dang it! I just wanted one more year of good melts

They never do, because their egos are MASSIVE.
"Oh they failed because it was them I'm different, I can make him great"
and its a terrible QB year with 5 or 6 different guys who could be first QB taken depending on team.

I've seen multiple takes from draftniks on the NFLdraft subreddit saying Milroe is more refined than AR was coming out. AR was more refined than Willis despite playing 30 fewer games.
I don't know what these guys are watching with Milroe that informs their opinion, but he's definitely more often compared to AR than Willis. I would guess because as pure athletes those 2 are in a separate tier.

I absolutely gave up on that happening with NFL teams in 2011, the year Jake Locker went #8 overall.
He had so many red flags that would tell you he was gonna be bad, guy was even a sub 60% passer every year in college. Doing my research, Jay Cutler was the only starting NFL QB at the time to also have that same sub 60% in college.
Teams are so pigheaded that they believe based on athleticism and testing that they can fill in or "fix" the rest.
Financially, it makes sense. Hitting on a rookie QB is a lot cheaper than trying to sign a franchise QB. You can put off paying him and build that team in those 4-5 years.

Hopefully for him he goes in the 3rd and can sit behind someone for a few years and learn to read a defense and run an offense.

Milroe may actually be a better pro than college football player. The NFL shows us every week that quarterbacks who extend plays are what they want. He may never be the quarterback that goes through progressions and stands in the pocket as a field general. Josh Allen is called great and he rarely delivers strikes from the pocket. The game has changed from statues at quarterback. Edge rushers are too fast so they value mobile guys more.

Even the biggest Milroe bro's on this board never said this. If someone did, it was usually a troll or brushed off as not to be taken seriously.
