I have to say, Michigan and UTk have gotten out of paying coaches in some fricking hilarious ways. Getting your side piece's plan B delivered to your work and slipping stacks of cash into happy meals have got to be two of the most ridiculous ways any coach has ever destroyed his career. Really goes to show how incompetent LSU is. They had a massive scumbag like BK around for 3+ years and aren't able to pin a single thing on him? Amateur hour.

Something to consider: This Moore situation has been known for weeks to the point people were posing about it and an investigation was ongoing. Michigan likely has put out feelers weeks ago to agents/coaches. Just a week ago DeBoer was asked about the Penn St rumors and said there has never been interest and he’s happy at Alabama and loves it here.
He then signed a very highly ranked recruiting class while talking about the trust he’s built with southern coaches. None of those recruits put off signing.
I could be completely wrong, but my thoughts are DeBoer has likely already been floated the idea of that job opening up. I can’t really see him going out of his way on two different instances to talk about trust and loving Alabama AND letting the kids sign(even if they can just transfer) if he was going to take that job
