1st round pick? I don't think so. Bryce has trouble reading decent defenses like LSU's, he often checks down too late, his hesitancy to run, and his slight frame.

You could be right, but that won't be happening.

I totally he agree Bryce is not ready for the NFL right now. His accuracy is also subpar.

If he gets drafted in the first round are you and everyone else going to make a thread to admit you are a dumbass?

His accuracy is fine when he’s not playing injured. He looked healthy today.

It comes from scheduling every Saturday on your calendar to be miserable watching Alabama football. I also question if anyone watches football, especially NFL, that says dumb shite like this 20 times every Saturday.

You don't complete every pass and you will make mistakes. That doesn't mean you aren't elite. Find a draft board that doesn't have Bryce in the top 3 QBs chosen. His height and stature are his biggest knock, but that is becoming less and less of a factor as more 6'0 QBs enter the league.

The offensive playbook is literally "Pass play that Bryce improvises." We keep putting him in situations where he has to hit the game winning shot to win (AU last year, Texas this year, etc). Without him BoB is probably eating cheetos in a Target parking lot somewhere.

NFL talking head said this is a weak QB class and said he and the OSU guy are heads and shoulders above the rest. He needs to go make coin.

I never thought Kyler Murray would be successful as small as he is. But he's doing OK. He probably has more elite athleticism with his feet, though. Bryce doesn't seem particularly fast.

Tua is probably more accurate.

Jalen more durable, and probably has a "bigger" arm.

What does Bryce do that's elite, from an NFL standpoint? Do we think he'll be a Drew Brees type of player?

I wish him well. He's played like a warrior. I just hope it translates to the NFL.

I don't think another year of CFB will make a difference for him, either way. He's liable to get life changing money, right from the jump. So he should go get it.

There is no reality where Jalen Hurts was a better prospect than Bryce. Love the guy.

I'm not going to getting into the weeds of what Bryce does well. It is a lot.

The best attribute he has is being clutch. Last year he won a heisman with an offensive line that as >100 in CFB in sacks. One scholarship running back. Butt chin calling plays.

This year he is pretty much the entire offense. The entire offense is off script plays through Bryce. Tua is great. Great arm. How would Tua do if he was on a team like this? How would Bryce do if he had 4 first round WRs, two NFL starting running backs, and an NFL tight end with a much better offensive line AND playcaller.

Imagine a Sunday next year where 4 Alabama QBs were starting for NFL teams.

That might be a record...

What improvement is he going to make by coming back for another year? We don’t even know who his OC will be (if not O’Brien) and whether they will be able to develop him any more than he already is.

There was a time when I felt like he didn't need to be the starter at Alabama. And I think we were right and justified in that.

But I also think he's surprised everyone by his resurgence. He is being mentioned as a candidate for MVP.

So I'm not sure I agree with "There is no reality where Jalen Hurts was (is?) a better prospect than Bryce."

I said prospect and not NFL player. Prospect. Body of work at the college level.

Tua was a better prospect than Bryce, but broke his hip. I won't debate that one. Jalen was a second round draft pick. This is obviously a mistake at this point, but he wasn't a number one overall kind of prospect.
