This is a good move for him. Locksley has real good relationship with his dad, and He can develop get Tauila ready.

Had a real good relationship with Sark as well.

Locks and Taulia were all class while at Alabama. Hope they can beat Michigan or Ohio State in a few years.

That is surprising. Good luck to him.

This tells me that Bryce is the truth. It wasn’t just a “I don’t think I can beat him so I’m going with Tua” kinda deal.

Or... Tauila never wanted to be at Alabama....

In my opinion, this is a big part of it

I Imagine Lia feels comfortable in Locks offense. Tua was amazing in it so I am sure he and the father felt good about going to UM... Best of luck to the young man. I think he is better than some give him credit for

Congrats!! Didn’t see that one coming though. Really thought the family would stick together and that’s why he was leaving. Must mean Bryce is the real deal and Mac isn’t getting unseated this year. But I couldn’t be happier for him and that should mean it’s damn good for us too

Congrats to him. Would hurt if he had his brothers ability.

Taulia wanted Alabama more than Tua when they were in Hawaii.
He was out number one recruiter besides Galu all in Tua's ear. To the point Galu had to tell him to calm down.
Now all that is forgotten and history is changed.
The reality is Galu knew Bryce would beat out his son and his son didn't get spring ball to try to at least compete against Mac Jones. Smart and clear decision.

Good decision. Hope they give OSU and Michigan hell.

Look, I get that people appreciate the job Locksley did while he was here, but the fact remains that his record as a head coach has been downright pathetic. 2-26 at New Mexico, and then 3-9 last year. They lost those 9 games by an average of over 30 points a game. Two of those blowouts were to other shitty teams, including a 47 point loss at home to a 5-7 Nebraska in the next to last game of the year.
Again, I get the loyalty to Locksley for what he did here. And yes, he did a decent job as an OC. But Dan Enos was the guy more responsible for the development of the QBs that year. And Locksley has light years to go to prove that he can even remotely be a successful head football coach. The smart money says Locksley leaves Maryland before Lia does.
If the family and Lia wanted him to play for a guy who could develop him for the next three years, this was a bad choice, because there is likely no way in hell that Locksley is there that long.
If you disagree because you like Locksley, fine. But how about offering at least a smidgen of evidence that the guy can ever have success as a head coach?
