We played all of those 9 players regularly

I was just roster watching a bit differently,

Julian Goode, Keon Blackledge, Isiah Wilson, and Dakota Slaughter combined still had less half the playing time of a Nick Jacobs.

Because I know they hardly played last year.

4 walk-ons didn't get much playing time? Wow. Definitely an indictment of Grant's ability to run a team. There are dozens of legit things to criticize Grant for.

No need to just make shite up and then edit to the walk-ons after you realize the players you were bitching about not seeing the floor actually played for other teams last season.

So not one of them was even worthy of even a couple of minutes of playing time? I'm not sure why he would pollute his roster if he has no intention to play them.

Beyond that, do you really disagree that Grant is a perennial excuse maker? I'm convinced that he is just going to have another disappointing year.

Maybe this time he could at least lose a closer game to florida?

I'll say that Grant does seem to be snakebit since coming here. It seems every year we lose a key guy to injury, suspension, or just quitting the team. I don't think it all can be blamed on Grant. I mean how is he responsible for Pollard's mom kidnapping someone and Pollard being involved? He sent message after message to Mitchell and it never got through to him. Is he supposed to just give up and let Mitchell be a cancer on his team?

i agree with most of this but in Pollards case he had already left the team per reports I read and was thinking of quitting before the situation occurred

I hate to hear kids getting injured and I hope for a speedy recovery, BUT besides being a top recruit a few years ago and him being in the system 3 years now...what has he done he's been a big disappointment, bama was going to lose or win with or w/o him, I can't remember one game he has had a major impact in, he can't hit the three, he's too slow to beat guys off the dribble, and too small to play in the post, and his defensive basketball I.Q. is not that good. I'm sorry I just get a lil fired up when I think about bama basketball, it hurts to watch them play a full game...but getting Engstrom back is bigger imo.

What? He may be the best all around player we have.

Engstrom? Are you being serious right now?

Do you even basketball, bro?

Dude, just give up. You've already proven yourself to be full of crap. Every team "pollutes" their roster with walk-ons that never play. If you actually watched the last Florida game, you'd know it went down to the last few minutes. There are plenty of things to complain about with Grant, but your complaints are BS.

This is a video from today with Grant talking about practice thus far. Carl has had minor setbacks thus far and both our transfers have been battling injuries as well. He gave no update on Levi other than to say he suffered a knee injury.

Alabama coach Anthony Grant says he does not expect Levi Randolph (knee injury) to be out for "any significant amount of time."

@Andrew_Gribble: In anticipation of big minutes, Alabama PG Trevor Releford says he's dropped a little more than 10 lbs in offseason.

Nope. Still wrong. Slaughter got 48 minutes last season.

Hopefully that means he'll be back for the start of the season, even if he's not 100%.
