One guy goes to Oregon in a weak conference with crazy amounts of money and resources but the team is already decent...and one goes to Ole Miss with very limited resources and the team is downright terrible.

One has restored a program from the ground up like Nick Saban taught him to do and one just stayed decent...no real improvement at all. Which one would you choose?

Nobody is going to keep it going like you're accustomed to. And Kiffin is a child. Zero chance Saban gives Lane an endorsement and Byrne will definitely ask.

He did nothing with USC or Tennessee.

I said more than eight wins. You have multiple teams there with eight or fewer wins. You've got the three with 2021 Arkansas, 2023 LSU, and 2023 Penn State. Why is it unfair to include USC and Tennessee?

I am also on the Kiffin train. He knows the system, he brought OM their first 10 (2x) and 11 win seasons

It's an easy hire

It seems so obvious. He's won in the SEC West.

Will it be rocky? Sure. Will it be a step down? Probably..who isn't?

But it' would be fun as hell. Recruiting would be great. Offense would be great.

Kiffin has never won the SEC west as a head coach.

Y’all are completely forgetting some of the rumors from when Kiffin was here regarding extramarital affairs with donor wives

Absolute uphill climb for him to end up here

No Ole Miss coach has, though. Tough to judge him based on not being able to beat Saban. If that's the case, then only Dabo will do.

I'm team Joey Freshwater, but I'd call Washington's coach. Dude is a winner. Might as well win in Tuscaloosa.

Didn’t Kiffin get the USC job as they got hammered with reduced scholarships?

I always heard it was one, but who knows. That guy follows his willy around pretty much everywhere he goes.

Helluva offensive coach though

Really?

He's at OLE MISS!

He didn't even have a five star recruit. Stop with the nonsense Crimson.

Hope you liked having Pete Golding as DC cause if we hire Kiffin he is coming with him
my user name is firegolding, created October 2020, and even I would be cool if he comes back if it means we land Kiffin. I don’t know much but I do know Sark ain’t leaving Texas right now.
