I’d say he simplified things so his guys could play fast and stop second guessing themselves.
Personally, I believe that Golding’s biggest fault was the fact that he was too slow to counter offensive sets or process what was relayed to him from the press box. I feel that Steele is meant to bridge the gap to clearing Pruitt and or help season/tutor Armstrong along in the defense.

Tim Brown just can't call it straight because he's a Marcus Freeman shill? Man, you sound stupid as hell. Tim Brown has always been supportive of his alma mater. It sounds like you think Tim Brown is supportive of Freeman because of racial reasons and not because Freeman is the HC of Brown's alma mater. But, Freeman unlike Rees was an in-demand coordinator who had plenty of offers at top programs. That's a fact. Rees has done nothing to warrant being Bama's OC. Usually to get to Bama an unknown had to do more with less. Golding did that. But, Rees simply didn't.

Tim Brown is an idiot. He also thinks Bill Callahan threw the SB.

Rees was in demand as well: Brian Kelly tried to get him to come with him to LSU, Saban wanted to hire him in 2019, UCLA and one other PAC12 program tried to hire him, Saban at the top program in the country obviously wanted him this year. Possibly others. NFL franchises were interested as well. Saban was impressed with his rookie coaching year when facing ND in 2020. He put up 47 on a Clemson D that gave up 15+ ppg in the reg season for Clemson's only reg season loss that year.

Half of the statements you make are factually incorrect, and it is always in favor of the argument you are trying to make. Bias seems to pervert your understanding.

Saban was losing it. These hires have confirmed things for me. Get the succession plan together

So if Saban wins another NC at Bama will you stop posting?

If you were a real fan you would have sent your kids to The Capstone and not MTSU. Your opinion is worthless

I raised my children to be independent thinkers, not some leeches who can’t think for themselves and have to have their parents make all their decisions for them.

I let my kids decide for themselves where they wanted to go to school and that’s where they wanted to go. It is beyond me why anyone would want to get educated in Tennessee, but that’s what they decided.

Also, it’s significantly less expensive.

What Nick Saban's coordinator hires mean for Alabama in 2023 (ESPN)

quote:

Some Bama fans have grumbled about the new leaders of the team's offense and defense. But suggest the Tide's leader has lost his fastball at your own risk.
