I'm happy as a clam. It will be hard to do worse than Pete. I'm honestly more interested in who the OC is going to be unless Saban completely gives someone the keys to defense.

For example, Schumann could be waiting until after signing day in order to fulfill his obligation to Kirby. From what I've read, he understandably feels close to him for giving him an opportunity. Is that so far fetched? Saban probably wants to announce all his coaching hires at one time anyway, and BoB hasn't been hired elsewhere yet.

if pruitt is hirable as an assistant coach and not just an analyst then he will be it. I am of the belief he is not hirable until the dust settles at UT as an official coach of any kind

I doubt that matters especially when are not currently with a team. Also I think Saban wants to get someone in here as soon as possible. NSD will not be that big of a deal currently for UA but upcoming junior days will be.
