Yeah I did the same as SOG. Will do Fubo for a week and then switch to a trail of Hulu or Sling until this is resolved.

That’s $20 a month more than YouTube TV.
What I really love about the streaming services though is the fact that they are wireless and device independent. The cost saving is nice but the fact that I can watch anywhere on anything, have access to my recordings anywhere, and can put the TV anywhere I have power and wifi is just too hard to beat.
And as George said Google will sign very soon. They could (and were right) to play hardball when NBC wanted to force Peacock on YTTV customers but losing Disney costs them every sports fan and family with kids under 10. It is product suicide. Disney will throw a bone with something like maybe espn+ access, Google will pay more, and it will be back on at least before the first bowl games kick. I strongly suspect it will be back before Monday night football.

YouTube TV is discounting their price until the Disney negotiations are done. I got an email from them recommending the Disney package and describing the discount. Why not stay?

I know I have to give it more time but this FuboTV interface is BOOTY.

Just wait till you start rewinding or fast forwarding the glitchy nightmare.

I just did a trial of Fubo
Coming from a YTTV perspective, any specific love/hates with Fubo yet? I know you’re just trying it short-term, but if memory serves they don’t carry Turner, which may be an issue during March Madness.
I’ve had a trial of Fubo before also, just can’t remember what I didn’t like about it at the time—it’s been a while, so I’m sure it’s changed anyway.

Attention @SEC fans!!
If you are a @YouTubeTV customer, you no longer have access to SEC games & coverage on @SECNetwork or on @ESPN.
All major providers like @hulu, @Xfinity, @fuboTV, @dish, @DIRECTV, or @GetSpectrum carry @SECNetwork and @ESPN.

I’ll be moving to Hulu live as well
I work in renewals for a tech company. This is exactly how it’s going to play out

Does Fubo have local channels?

Fubo is fine, but definitely not anywhere near as easy as YTTV
It does have local channels for whoever asked

But this is about ESPN and all it's networks and we all like sports

I really hate Disney. Maybe it's because I was raised in Orlando. But they're fricking shamelessly greedy as hell. So out of spite, until YouTube TV is fixed, I'm sailing the high seas. And it's pretty damn easy to do...
1. Install Kodi.
2. Add "the crew" add-on.
3. frick Disney.
Here's a step by step tutorial...

It has pretty much everything sports you could want to watch, including ppv. Sail on, homies.

For Now, will be upped as soon as they bring Disney back. No chance they keep going without giving into the mouse. Disney has all the leverage, YTTV is small potatoes

Dish has the capability BTW, can access all your channels and recordings anywhere through the app
They are getting close now in price and DISH's hopper box is a much superior product at this point in time.
However, I fully expect cable and Dish companies to be fully streaming our out of the business sooner rather than later. Just bleeding all their cusotmers

Just Disney being Disney. Greedy bastards

I agree! I rarely watch TV except for live sports.
Eta: I just paused my YouTubeTV service for now, awaiting their return of Disney-owned channels.

Sure but it won’t go up $20 a month. Also, I like the unlimited storage of YTTV’s DVR. That’s just personal preferences though.
Anyhow, this is more about what everyone can expect moving forward. Since you locked in on a 2 year plan you are ok on cost but whenever Dish comes up for renewal with Disney you may find yourself in the same boat as us YTTV users.
Nobody knows what either side is asking/offering but it doesn’t take a genius to know Disney is in a bad financial spot right now.
ESPN lost 10% of its subscribers in 2021 - eight million sets and thanks to Covid, Disney overall is still close to a billion dollars in the red over the last two fiscal years.
Every single tv/satellite/cable provider is going to have to bend over and bite the pillow because the mouse is going to get his.

Fully excpect YTTV and Disney/ABC to reach some agreement very quickly. It's too big a swath of channels for them to live without.
I said the same thing when they lost the regional sports (Bally Sports) rights. They initially lost them, regained them by increasing their price by 15 dollars a month, lost them again and didn't revert back to the original price point. Been over a year since that fiasco. Getting a little annoyed with YTTV at this point...
