I think he has a ton of hype and I'm hoping he lives up to it. It makes me nervous when OL or Qb's dont come from powerhouse HS programs. I think those positions need to be tested against quality opponents to really see what that kid is made of. I'm not sure where Carlsbad ranks in California, but it isn't a Mater Dei or St John Bosco.

He may turn out to be a dud, but I have watched two of his games this year and I am as excited as I have been for a signee in a long time

Sayin has zero chance of starting next year. Less then zero. Simpson has zero chance of starting next year.

Saban will absolutely start milroe next year.

Based on your illustrious post count and reputation, I buy it. They may as well transfer, bro.

His team beat Mater Dei 48-14 this season

Thanks. It always amazes me how many people post a take that makes it obvious they didn't even do a five second search on the subject they're confidently offering an opinion on.

Yet another keyboard warrior who thinks their opinion of a poster matters.

I’ll save your comments so that as soon as Milly Roe is named the starter we can discuss further. Not sure why you think they should transfer. Talk about a stupid take.

Milroe opens as a Heisman favorite if not THE favorite (in many places) and folks still want to start an unknown QB.

Amazing.

To answer your question Sayin is very special. Quite a bit like Bryce Young in terms of his intelligence and feel for the game. He has an incredibly quick release and is very accurate. He is a freshman so he isn't beating out Milroe or Simpson but don't be surprised if he is the starter in 2025.

He look like a Milly Roe. So I call him Milly Roe.

Actually my spell autocorrected his name to that one time and I thought it was funny so I am sticking with it.

The problem is that Milroe is a known QB that can’t make pre snap reads or find wide arse open receivers on a consistent basis.

More likely Simpson starts game 1 than a true freshman.

Had one of the greatest running backs in football history ride the pine as a freshman and get only occasional carries as a sophomore

Occasional carries as a sophomore? Henry led Bama in rushing in 2014 (990 yards to Yeldon’s 979) and basically split carries with Yeldon (Yeldon had 194 carries, Henry 172); Henry also had 1 more TD than Yeldon (13 to 12) that year. Henry didn’t see as many carries as a freshman because he couldn’t block or pick up the blitz (they never made him do that in high school and he had to learn).

You act like Yeldon was chopped liver; he was damn good at Bama and lacked only 21 yards in his junior year to be the first RB to have three 1,000 yard rushing seasons; he was also a key component in Bama winning the nattie in 2012…
