I'm fine with Milroe protecting himself here. The season is over of Milroe goes down.

Why even question if Alabama's defense would have stopped them? The entire game have us that answer. No, Alabama would not have stopped them from scoring.

really? Very unlikely that he could have made that play. He couldn't even take the angle of which Rodgers was saying he could have taken because Haynes and another Vandy player were in front of him. If he had have jogged over there, maybe there is something there, but he absolutely sprinted. I don't blame him for not trying to go Bobby Boucher into the runner to try and knock him out at the 1 yard line. He is a QB, no a LBer.

just a poor effort.

He was probably in shock that a flag wasn't thrown for DPI

All kidding aside, I agree with remaster. Sure, a bit of a poor effort, but I'm not going to get too angry about our QB not going all out to make a tackle. Maybe he makes the play if he runs full speed and may he doesn't, but could you imagine if he got hurt trying to make the tackle?

People blow a gasket when we have RW returning punts, so I can't imagine how people would react if Milroe got hurt trying to tackle a guy on the 3 yard line (which probably wouldn't have made a difference anyway).

Outside of Ryan Williams the entire team had poor effort.

I’m not really interested in blaming anyone on the offense

Under a normal amount of snaps, we put up 42 on them

When the ball was intercepted the DB was at the 27 yard line, on the hash. It's 34 yards from there to the pylon. Jalen was about 1/3 of the way to the left hash, on the 18 yard line. It's a 36 yard run to the pylon.

So Jalen may have gotten to him at the pylon, but the very best you could have hoped for is for him to hit the guy at about the 3 yard line. Best case.

Defense wouldn’t have stopped them, most likely.

Rogers is making a mountain out of a mole hill. Milroe was moving pretty fast to get there. There were other players closer. And Milroe isn’t a defender so expecting him to take a perfect angle and technique to get the dude out at maybe the 2 yard line isn’t very reasonable.

I don’t like Jordan Rodgers. You can tell that he doesn’t care too much for Alabama. Always picks against us in big games. Not a fan of his. Looks like a douche on top of that.

Yeah if anything that would have given. Vandy 5 more minutes of possession as they bleed the clock from the one yard line. lol Loook bad decision, should not have forced that but he did, Vandy did and we still had multiple opportunities to get them off eh field. We scored 35 points in 46 plays and less than 18 minutes of possession. The defense has to force more than one or two stops a game against Vanderbilt.

Our defense played like shite all day but yeah, our QB should have knifed through a lane and took a better angle to make that tackle

Milroe had no business going after a db. No our season may not be done but it would absolutely take a massive hit losing him. Can’t have the QB getting hurt chasing down a DB. This is a troll job by Rodgers. Our offense isn’t the issue. Can’t say it enough. Womack needs to go and our defense is a fricking abomination.

What makes you think that? I think Milroe is our best option but we have no idea how Simpson and the team would react.

The funniest thing about that clip was Jordan Rodgers implying that the defense could have gotten a stop.....

Stupid arse tweet.

If he ran full speed and gets injured our season is basically over. How about highlight the fact our OL struggles to protect him against Vandy

Outside of one play I didn’t see them struggling too much. Offense did fine
