I like Jalen Milroe as a person. I think he truly loves the University of Alabama. He gives his all. It just isn't good enough. He's a phenomenal athlete but an average QB who can dominate 80% of opponents but struggles against the top 20% of defenses. It's time to move on from him and look to the future. Let Ty start the Iron Bowl to see what we have next season if Keelon isn't ready to start as a freshman. Let Jalen either declare or transfer.

I agree with all of this, but not sure why we think this staff will start anyone but Jalen next week.

I'm guessing that's his last start at Alabama though

I think it’s time that we accept after two years of Milroe sucking, that it’s just not going to happen and he’s coming back for a third year

If it takes a third loss to bench Milroe and Ty pulls a 300 yard passing game out of his arse, I might actually go nuclear

Agreed but unfortunately won’t happen I think too many promises were made preseason. Milroe is not average but a terrible QB, don’t understand why Ty doesn’t get shot

Nah, I don’t even think he’s a good person. Dude gets paid hundreds of thousands of dollars and forced the LANK brand on the university. Spent the whole offseason politicking instead of getting better. According to insiders, he’s the leader of a cancerous cabal in the locker room. So NO! I refuse to just accept every “young man in crimson” is a good dude.

I think Mack or Dylan might be the starter next year unless we get someone from the portal

He has to be told to move on this off season. If not Deboer is going to set this program back a few yrs and be gone after '26.

Oh yeah? You hang out a lot?

I bet his personality sucks, and he probably focuses 100% on his money, and trying to look good for the NFL. I bet he's arrogant as hell and thinks he's too good to be friends with the players who aren't millionaires.

But since you seem to know him in person, please tell us.

LOL what ? Your buddy should have been benched in the Tennessee game. He’s ruined the passing game and makes terrible decisions. I guess that Bill O’Brien was right after all.

But is he really?

He is fast...in a straight line. He has a pretty strong arm.

Just those two items do not classify him as a "phenomenal athlete".

He’s not good enough to be the QB at Alabama which has been apparent for awhile. I don’t blame him much anymore I blame the coaches for not ding their job and making a change when it’s obviously become necesssry.

If they bench him the Auburn game just think back to last year's South Florida game. Quite a few players won't play as hard for the backups. Sad to say but probably true.

I don’t care. Bench him and call the players’ buff. He’s not good enough and has shown that repeatedly. Making the change is worth the risk at this point. We have nothing to lose.

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out next Saturday against a fired up Auburn team that wants to go bowling & end their 4 game losing streak against us.

Then bench their asses too. I’d rather win or lose with players that give a damn. I’d even take another loss this year just to have a point proven that everyone is replaceable.

That is it in a nutshell. He has a knack for hitting the “hero ball” throws that would not be required if BAMA could run an offense that worked to control the clock and make first downs. Requires a QB who can read a defense.

If there are any guys who would do that, then let them show who they are and they can find somewhere else to play.

What I'd like to see happen (but it probably won't) is CKD be decisive, call a team meeting and name either Simpson or Mack as the starter for the Auburn game and the bowl game. If a player or players have a problem with that, let him (CKD) know and we'll find guys to take their spot.

If they try that rebellion crap, bench every one of them. I don't give a crap if we have to start a bunch of true freshmen and walk ons and lose the game, rather than cave to guys with a crappy attitude and a fierce personal loyalty to a guy who just isn't good enough.

Milroe should be demoted to 5th string behind walk on QB Cade Carruth. He should be invited to transfer or try the NFL (although I think the only job he could get is as a human tackling d ummy). He should never, ever take another snap at QB.
