Jalen embodies all of the old school team mentality:

--team first
-- put your head down, keep your mouth shut and work hard
-- loyalty to school & teammates

I hope Jalen stays at Bama, red shirts next year and then takes back over as QB after Tua leaves for the NFL. He starts and finishes a winning CFPO giving Bama 4 in a row.

Go baby. Beat that dead horse.

Nice touch bringing up the Clemson Championship loss.

Oh, and I particularly like the thread advocating that Jalen redshirt and come back after Tua leaves to ensure our young QB’s split.

It’s been great. But now it’s time we say goodbye.

Starts a thread about what a great teammate a guy is

Goes on to play the blame game on a loss from two years ago

well, except for that rant about "my responsibility is to me and my family. I have created my own brand"

And yes, that is old news now, and since that time Jalen hasn't talked that kind of silly shite again, and has been all in for the team. He's also an improved qb and I'm glad for all he's done at Alabama. That said, Boz' comments about the title game 2 years ago is very old news, and in a thread about Jalen, it was pointless to trash that defense yet again.

that sounds like advice he may have gotten from a family member, maybe his dad, or a family friend. Looks like he quickly forgot that and took advice from his coaches.

Was with you until... "But, our D never bowed its back when our O struggled."

They played 100 snaps. They bowed their back till it broke. SMH

Personal foul on Payne that should have gone both ways with two exhausted players shoving one another after the whistle was the worst call at the worst time I've ever seen in a ballgame. Ref probably tells his kids about how he decided the title game one year.

I'm not sure if even us bama fans realized it at the time, but losing arguably our best playmaker in Eddie Jackson finally came back to haunt us.

Jalen fought and did all he could (not like we had another option at the time) but bama got hit with the injury bug and almost was able to pull it out anyway. The defense on the field during the championship game was not the same, potentially GOAT, defense we had seen most of the year.

Jackson was a huge loss in both defense and special teams, plus losing Hamilton, didn't have quite the same horses or available bodies to counteract a legitimate all time great college QB who just did not want to be denied. Playcalling also wasn't great, losing Bo mid-game, kiffin checking out at the end of the season - that year just wasn't meant to be.

Jalen and the offense didn't play great, but as a true freshman in that spotlight he did put us ahead late in the 4th quarter. It sucks (kind of, you have to be a real dick to complain as a bama fan these days), but you can't win them all.

Minkah had his arse most of the game last year and Kelly couldnt throw... that will not be the case this year, Lawrence has the throwing thing down and Minkah is in Miami... not sure we have that "guy" in Carter. But I could be mistaken

I’m sure you would. I’m also sure you’d like to see a redshirt and Jalen’s triumphant return.

You’d probably like to see roll right and hit the old lady in the third row and Talia at LSU.

But I say this constitutes beating a dead hose. And coming from the man who coined the phrase “turnover machine” to describe A Heisman qb makes it particularly inflammatory.
