Every game thread is a rollercoaster of emotions because every quarter is a different team from the last.

People get enamored because a couple times a game Milroe hits some deep shots. The fact is, deep throws are just about the easiest reads a QB has. Milroe simply cannot run an offense and move the chains. Fanboys will keep on "Yeah, but"-ing all they want; this kid is not a championship QB. We're at the halfway point of the season. He is what he is at this point. The light isn't going to suddenly turn on.

3 offensive TDs per game seems to be our offensive water level and 4 our SEC high watermark.

The light came on for Coker around this time of the season. 2nd half of Tennessee game was a turning point.

Similarly, Coker looked like one of the dumbest QBs we’ve ever played up to that point. The big difference is no Derrick Henry type runner around.

Seems we have at least a bad half per game.

I would say Bama seems to have good 4 drives.

The first two are pretty much busts.

Bama has had many qbs and many offenses who could not consistently hit the deep ball.

I get so tired of hearing people say that the deep ball is so easy to thrown

As long as BAMA keeps scoring more points than the other team through 4 qtrs, IDGAF.

That being said, Milroe is still improving. He didn't even come close to throwing an INT today. I wish he'd run the ball more. Why has BAMA abandoned the designed QB runs they had vs MTSU?
Is the screen pass to the RB a penalty now? If not, why haven't we run won since AJ hit Yeldon in Death Valley for the win?
Same question with the QB draw.
Same question with the pop pass to the WR in motion.
Same question with slant.

I WANT MORE JAM MILLER.

How dumb was the play calling by Dan Lanning in the 4th quarter?

the absolute ceiling with Milroe against SEC teams.

This is complete horseshite. None of what happened today is on Milroe. The OL is atrocious and not improving. When they block he is phenomenal

We ran a screen to the RB today. The ball was poorly thrown.

There were plays to be made from clean pockets today brother. I know people get tired of hearing about JM’s limitations, but they are very real. He regressed from a really strong performance on the road last week. Missing high is gong to bite us in the arse eventually.

Milroe should be a 1 season gap filler starting QB and nothing more.

We can win with this team. It’s true they can have some bad showings but when everyone said we would lose to AM another team emerged. I have hope we can win out. I’m excited about the unknown actually.

There is a excitement of not knowing the outcome before the kickoff that this team gives. So . they also bring out words that I wanna say but have kids around. It's frustrating because they can be so so much more of an imposing team if they just did little things.... Not give the refs an opportunity to throw a flag (key this week. Dallas last week... And someone EVERY week) or hit the back in stride instead of making him turn around and stop ATM should have been double digits and today should have been 27

This team has a ceiling of 31 against SEC teams hereon.

But you got 24 right .. thats about how much on average we can expect to score on SEC hereon.

Yes they are a top 15 defense. Good but not elite

To this point they've absolutely been an elite defense for the modern game.
