Because it's a bitch move to call out players in the media about massive life decisions while claiming you aren't calling anyone out.

Especially while Saban has already seen his millions.

I'm not trying to bully anyone into sharing my opinion.

It's hard enough to get y'all to even understand it even though it's simple af and I've spelled it out multiple times

How dare Saban say that he thinks a former player left too early and is worth more than he is getting paid

The Board of Trustees needs to get together and discuss Saban's future

I believe you are the one having a difficult time understanding. You are just giving your opinion. That's your right. People just don't agree with you. It happens.

Saban is anal about every aspect of the program being the best that it can and hates distractions.

Now he has a prominent ex player telling him to keep his name out of his mouth because Saban publicly called him out for something that every player on the team dreams about.

Saban should not have called him out. He also did it in a cowardly manner.

Disagree all you want. But I'm pretty sure I'm right.

He was asked a question and answered it and gave an good example. I don't believe there is anything wrong with that.

I also don't think Ronnie was wrong to go pro. It was his right to do it.

You're entitled to your opinion, but your opinion is ridiculous. Saban isn't treating pro football like "a dream". It's a fricking job. A job where the bosses are always scheming up ways to pay their employees as little as they possibly can, and taking advantage of guys like Ronnie who would rather take a quarter today than a dollar tomorrow.

But the 16 and 17 year kids that he's trying to recruit are. As well as the current players who probably look up to the Alabama guys in the NFL.

Ronnie probably made a mistake. Talk to him about it. Talk to the players about it. But don't call him out to the media.

Or you know, do. And have ex players tweeting, "keep my name out of your mouth."

That's EXACTLY what Saban likes. I'm wrong. Y'all are right.

Saban doesn't want his current players to leave money on the table. It's not complicated.

I'm sure Saban talked to him about it.

This is a big bunch of nothing

Clearly, Ronnie was bothered by it.

That was posted on the previous page. He can be butthurt all he wants. He's a known hot head. I said he was an idiot during the Alabama-USC game a few years ago. I stand by that remark

He should have been drafted well before the 3rd round and is proving it.

It's easy to say he should have been in hindsight, but where did most projections have him being picked?

I could be wrong, and perhaps I am, but I believe Saban never said anything about not calling anyone out. He simply said he wasn't going to name names....and he didn't. Ronnie Harrison is the one who outed himself publicly with his reply to Saban's comments on social media.

Projections ranged from late 1st to mid 2nd. It really wasn’t a bad decision (at the time) like some on here are making it.

Saban is the one who said it

Ronnie doesn't even know the entire context of what was said.

I know. I was primarily addressing the “idiot” and “dumbass” comments from earlier but I now realize those weren’t necessary directed at Ronnie’s decision to go pro early.

An ugly look all the way around. We all can agree Nick does everything to make the program the best. He sometimes derails his own process by speaking his mind unfiltered.

#15 spoke his mind at the heat of the moment which he will regret. He runs hot, and I hope with maturity that goes away. It did with me.

Nick just needs to understand, even though means well, he cant talk about someone's money. That's a sensitive issue to anyone much less a young adult that grew up without much.

No, I called him an idiot a long time ago. Had nothing to do with him going pro early. That's his business.
