Tua Tagovailoa was wearing a wrap on his left calf that wasn’t spotted in previous practices. He was off to the side with head trainer Jeff Allen and offensive coordinator Mike Locksley when the other quarterbacks were doing footwork drills but participated in the rest of the QB drills in the media viewing period.

how many injuries is he going to get. This makes at least 3 parts of the leg that we know of this season along with the thumb/hand issue during the spring.

No worries. Soaked in antler spray for that little something extra.

A thigh/hammy injury would most likely be a sympathetic injury caused by his ongoing leg issues.

Not worried about Tua. He will appear to be 100% to all of us when the game begins. How many times do you see a football player with a wrap on a leg? All the time.

He is fine, they are helping his leg recover, Tua isn't 100 and he wasn't against OU, you have to wrap and rest injuries like that after every game and practice.

I'm not stressing. We will be fine. Get ready for Monday, because we are about to be the first 15-0 college football team ever!!!!

We seem to be really beat up at the worst time possible. I hope Tua, Jennings, Miller, etc can get healthy enough to be effective Monday. Clemson will absolutely beat Alabama if we don't bring our A game.

I would think that Tua will 100 percent be effective on Monday.

Welp, we're playing on a horrible turf that's prone to injuring players:

https://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2019/1/3/18160692/santa-clara-national-championship-stadium-city-location-alabama-clemson

Playing there is bad.

This is mostly because of the cursed turf, a surface openly reviled by visiting teams.

In 2015, Ravens kicker Justin Tucker fell into a mini-sinkhole on a field goal attempt.

In 2016, after both the Broncos and Panthers struggled to find the right cleats for it during the Super Bowl, Denver cornerback Aqib Talib called it “terrible.”

Pete Carroll called it “lousy” last month, over four years after the stadium’s debut.

Fortunately, they installed new turf just the other day and for events like this they typically bring in top notch groundskeepers from across the country. So you have to have some faith that they know what they're doing. However I'm sure the rain over the next few days won't help matters.

Jonah also got hurt at yesterday's practice. Ended practice in a sling.
