Have you watched them play much? Beck is moved off his spot about once every 10-15 dropbacks. I wouldn't be surprised if he has been sacked less than 5 times all season. There aren't many great passrushes in the SEC this year though. Ours might be the best. If we can beat their OL we will win the game.

Beck has been sacked 8 times this season.
BAMA will get at least four.
McHonkey and Bowers are the keys to their passing game. Gotta make their WRs beat you.

I’ve felt great about our matchup against UGA but last night against Ole Miss was a reminder they are legit. Now I think it could do us a favor with the CFB world crowning them and not giving us a chance but they are really good.

Struggling against S Car, Auburn and Mizzou still makes me think they are a bit overrated but they don’t beat themselves. They rarely turn it over. They don’t get penalties. They don’t make mental errors. They are great up front. Kendall Milton will be tough to tackle.

I’m convinced Kirby has an underground practice facility built so they can practice 24/7. That team is too well coached to be only practicing the limited time allowed for teams.

The key is get to Carson Beck and stop the run. Beck is not a runner. He hasn’t faced a pass rush all year long.

Milroe will also have to play his best game. We’ll struggle a bit running the ball traditionally most likely. Unless our massive O line can play up to their true potential and mash their D front. We have some big azz dudes. It’s a factor.

If Ole Miss was playing Alabama at home for a night kickoff last night, Alabama would've beaten them more like UGA did.

People forget that Ole Miss was the first game after Milroe was officially named the starting quarterback. Milroe improved a bit leading up to the bye and it is clear that the bye week was like a second camp for the offense. Lots of new wrinkles and more focus on Milroe as a runner.

I hope no one thinks Bama will win. We need maximum boost from a win over "unbeatable" Georgia.

I haven't watched a ton of Georgia, but it seems like they really utilize the TEs in the passing game...not just Bowers. I just don't want to see that fricker running free. It's not like he runs a 4.3...it's crazy how many times you see him just wide open. If they score, they score, but don't let Bowers beat us. Dude is the best TE I've seen in a long time.

JMO but you Must have a DL that can get the UGA QB out of the comfort zone he is operating as of today. He has so many receivers that can make plays and Mike Bobo is doing a hell of a job as OC.

We're going to have to be able to run the ball successfully and run it well in order to win.

I don't see this being said by anybody.

That said, it's 3 weeks away and we have to play at Auburn in 2 weeks. Not thinking about UGA at all for a while.

I bet Nick Saban loves it and hopes a lot of guys on the networks say it so he can play the clips over and over. If Bama is the underdog, Saban might break out in the electric slide alone in his office.

He will have our guys motivated.

Stop Bowers…stop the little WR and the rest takes care of itself.

I’m not being an arse but don’t you think every DC they have faced has said stop those two and we will have success. Apparently they’re pretty good. I say let’s enjoy the ride and enjoy watching this team grow and hope for the best. If Bama shows up and plays their A game they can absolutely beat Georgia but Georgia will absolutely come after Jalen and we have to hope that our OL has truly improved like we believe they have.

Sportsbettingdime's early line from today has it UGA -5.

Sagarin essentially has them at a deadlock on a neutral field.

Just need to stay healthy, take care of AU, and get ready for UGA. Really need some other one-loss conf champs or UTx to drop a game as well to have some breathing room.

It's the most challenging test Bama will have faced in a while.

Just need to pray for good health and hope the team can do everything they can to win the state and conference. If 12-1 and an SEC title isn't enough to get Alabama there then it'll just be what it'll be.

I have too much PTSD from basically every game at Auburn since Saban got here to even think about Georgia yet. How am I the only one?

Mississippi was able to run the ball some on the perimeter with a patchwork OL. They knocked out Jaxson Dart so tell Milroe to get down LOL

I think Bama will move the ball its a matter of can we get to the QB and stop the run.

Mizzou went toe to toe with Georgia in Athens. They had a chance deep into the 4th qtr with the ball down 27-21 before Cook threw it right to the UGA D linemen’s gut. Yardage was pretty close to even for both teams.

I typically don’t care about bringing up comparisons against other teams but it’s just a reminder that they can get got.

It’s funny to me UGA fans are comparing their win over Ole Miss and how Bama only scored 24. Georgia was down 14-3 to S Car in Athens. Only scored 24 on a way worse team. Let’s act like that fact doesn’t exist, though.

Teams can improve over the course of a season…but apparently Alabama is still the same team from early September.

They say Birmingham is biased, being only 40 mins from Tuscaloosa.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium is just over an hour away from Athens. It is anything but a neutral field for an SEC championship scheduled a week after the end-of-season.
