More than likely, the rest of the season is " meaningless". There are possibilities of playoffs, but facts are since only 4 get in, I doubt there is room for Alabama.

I've joked previously that Saban purposely blew the '17 iron bowl, but I really don't think we tried all we needed to do.
If somehow it's 100% certain that the playoffs are out of reach come this year's Iron Bowl, I fully expect a lethargic output. Shouldn't happen, but that's what I expect.
But, if there is a decent chance playoffs are possible, I'd expect a inspired effort.

Depending on what happens in the interior OL Wwe have a chance to have a pretty good OL next year. I expect both tackles to leave, but we can bring back Neal (who probably moves to tackle), Dickerson, and Brown plus we have some other guys who have gotten some decent experience this year.

I want a decent bowl, though. Also, don't be surprised if some of the star players sit it out ahead of the draft.
