We're in.

Get the frick off our site, boog. I’m sick and tired of seeing you troll here. Your program has enough problems of its own right now.

They lost to 6-6 Vanderbilt.
They lost to 6-6 Oklahoma by 21 points.
They don't deserve to be in the playoffs and it's their own fault. Beat the bad teams and you are in the SEC Championship Game.
I would rather miss the playoffs and win the Citrus Bowl and finish 10-3. Go to the playoffs and play either ND, Penn State or Oregon in the first round and go 9-4. Nothing Alabama has shown this year suggests they will beat a good team on the road.
Deboer is in a bad spot either way. Either miss the playoffs or make the playoffs, lose 4 games in one season for the first time since 2007 and end Alabama's 16 year streak of at least 10 wins.
The latter should be a fireable offense, the former means firing his OC and DC as scapegoats.
Such a wasted season with a favorable home and away schedule. Alabama's road schedule.
Wisconsin: 5-7
Vanderbilt: 6-6
Tennessee: 10-2
LSU: 8-4
Oklahoma: 6-6
Doesn't get much easier than that in the SEC.
Where's all this weird, despondent shite coming from? It's as though you and some others have taken this team's performance this season as a personal affront.
When are you "superfans" gonna get it? It is always, 100% of the time better to be in any playoff than not, no matter the outcome. It's good for fan morale, program development in terms of financial support and good for recruiting.
You know how many boosters, collective donors and recruits care about the fricking Citrus Bowl? None of them, that's how many. You know how many fans care about the Citrus Bowl? Not a fricking one, that's how many. But do you know how many of these people care about the playoffs? All the normal ones.
Bowl games are equivalent to NFL pre-season games man. No one cares if they're won or lost. It's time folks like you joined us all in the 21st century. It's a different game now and all this "10 win" bullshite is garbage compared the gravitas of the playoff.

Hell, nobody outside the top 4 (top 6, tops) deserves a shot at the title or to be in the playoffs to compete for one. A 12-team playoff is trash
Right. Does Ohio State deserve to be in the playoff after losing two games with that cakewalk schedule? Does Notre Dame deserve to be in when their best win is Army and they lost to Northern Illinois? What about 8-4 Clemson still having a shot? This system isn't about who is deserving, it's just about adding more games for more revenue.
On a different note, the 11 seed may actually be the best place to be. Penn State and Notre Dame both seem like pretenders, then if you get past them you likely play SMU or Boise State in round two. It's probably the easiest path to the semifinals. The bye week isn't really correlated with success at the NFL level, we'll see if that holds in college too.

I am super curious to see how it plays out, imagine if none of the top 4 or 6 actually end up winning it all.

I would certainly enjoy another beat down of ND or PSU.

The USCE love is crazy by the national media. If anyone has an argument to get in over Bama it's Ole Miss, but USCE lost to Bama and Ole Miss. That should be the end of the argument.

Is it SC love or Bama hate?

I think Clemson wins and SMU does not make the field. I think people make too much out of their SOS in OOC bolstered by BYU and TCU who frankly aren't all that great, they simply play in the Big-12. They didn't even beat BYU anyway. In a weak year for the ACC, SMU managed the weakest schedule possible. They played none of the other teams in the top 4 of the ACC and only 2 of the top 8.
I know the committee's voice of sauron said that the championships game would not hurt anybody but I do not believe them. If SMU loses to Clemson that is a data point telling the committee that they have lost to every single opponent they've played who made the final CFP ranking.

It would be much better for us if SMU wins.

I know it doesn't mean much but compare Clemson's & SMU's common opponents. SMU has won by a much wider margin. There's a reason they are favored to win this game.
SMU's QB Jennings is what we all hoped Milroe would be this season.

It probably is more Bama fatigue than USCE love.. but that still doesnt make sense with Ole Miss. Ole Miss beat the hell out of them in Columbia and they still are saying USCE should be in over them. It's crazy.
