I'm not sure what you've seen to this point that can have you so confident about that.

I think we'll get it fixed and make a run in the playoffs.

Exactly. He and his offensive staff can’t handle the pressure of the SEC big game situations. When we lose to Auburn this will be very clear. I hate to say it because he was very successful at Washington with his offense. But it’s the offense that has been a major disappointment to this point.

I don't have any expectations for this team. They can win or lose against any team with power conference talent. They tend to play poorly on the road.

They should beat Auburn, they probably will beat Auburn, but it will almost certainly be a 1 possession game midway through the 4th quarter and we're either going to need to close the game out with no run game or drive down the field to take the lead with piss poor pass protection. It's a program operating on razor thin margins despite a player payroll somewhere around 28.5mil or more plus a 70mil staff.

Right but stupid turnovers is what lost this game. OU did nothing on offense. They’re a good team but not elite at all.

Look who’s on the field. Some of those guys just don’t have it. Guys on the OL, a couple of LB, a corner who’s iffy, and he’s coached guys who, to be honest, just aren’t super talented to a (so far) 8-2 season with the playoffs in front of them.

That’s pretty good to me.

We have one of the best defenses in the nation.

Yet if it isn't our OL, it's our RBs... now it's been our QB very inaccurate for 3 weeks...

I agree with this. However, if we lose to Auburn. CKD will be 0/2 in that regard. Three strikes and you're out. This is the most important Iron Bowl since 2013.

Agreed. Miss the playoff two years in a row and DeBoer and his staff will be on a short leash entering 2026.

Maybe this helps them to refocus, like they did after the FSU loss?

This would be best case scenario. Offense has been playing like crap for weeks. Defense is playing championship football.

I get a kick out of reading the reasons we lose.
Many years ago someone said ... And we just have a different bunch of excuses if we lose.

Let's not blame Saban for this mediocre performance. This team will not win a championship. Same problems we've had all year keep coming back to bite us. Ty is too emotional. Looks like he's about to cry after every bad play he makes. Deboer coaches to not lose hence all the tight games. We need to recruit better defensive and offensive lineman. I don't understand why we recruit so many Defensive backs and linebackers. Needs to fire our offensive line coach, Grubb, and Freddie Roach.

Honestly I just don't give a damn about odds until you see the actual playoff draw

The Barn is going to be a dangerous game. They have nothing to lose. They can gamble on every play. We have a FG kicker who is more nervous than a whore in Church and we have Formby.Plus Bama has turned into a turover machine. So, beating the Barn and A&M is not going to be easy. I am not giving up but I don't have high confidence in us making the playoff.

No team wins it all with a historically bad running game.

It IS very frustrating to watch this team not be physical, to watch it not have an effective run game. Oklahoma has been the physical team in the last two matches.

I dont buy this. Our defense was at least as physical as theirs yesterday, and we outgained them by 200 yards.
