Bench him and find out. It cannot be any worst. There is a new group to replace LANK. It is TNK (The Naysayers Knew), which I am a charter member. DeBoer decided to stick with what was going on and it did not work. It looked promising to start with. Following Bryant, Perkins went to white helmets and tore down Bear's tower. That did not work either.

I think we will probably see a situation that might well lead to that beginning the next game. I also believe that Milroe is banged up somewhat. And Good Lord, the offensive line has played horribly the last 2 games. I saw Jalen get up more slowly in the 3rd and 4th quarters of the South Carolina game.

The situation that I see coming is that we get behind to a Missouri team, and Milroe continues to make mistakes. At some point, in a situation like that, it become obvious to all that a change has to be made. Whether that change is for one series, more than one, or one more permanent, I don’t know. Coach Deboer is about to start really earning those paychecks, because these next few weeks may well be very hard, and I don’t mean in wins and losses.

He’s getting $10 million a year to make those hard choices. It’s time he earned it instead of stealing it like he has the last 3 weeks.

He’s a redshirt junior. I highly doubt a chunk of this team transfers to play with him at Maryland next year

The receivers want the ball and are frustrated. Doubt they transfer

The RB’s are losing touches, doubt they transfer

The line? Half the fricking line is probably pissed at him for losing. And I doubt the DL/LB cares or the freshman DBs

If we lose five guys who fricking cares so long as we stop losing winnable games

Every win with Milroe has been in spite of him.

If you bench him we have a shot to go at least 4-1 the rest of the way. If not, 2-3. That simple.

Dunno. Simpson didn’t set the world on fire vs S. Fla last year.

I don’t know if he’s going to be better I’m
just hoping he is. But I think he deserves a chance. Also I don’t think you can judge him completely based off of a handful of drives he played last year after no reps with the no.1 prior to that

Milroe can beat your team or his. He's capable and it is documented over and over.

At least 6-1.

We'd be in better shape than we are now

The line isn't blocking for Milroe so I don't expect them to block for Simpson either.

Not sure if you’ve noticed Hoss, but there’s multiple threads on the QB situation.

Someone made the comment that the whole team played bad va S Fla.
Fair enough.

Not sure he’s the answer but I like that Sark pulled Ewers when it wasn’t working. Manning wasn’t the answer either but at least Sark tried to adjust.

Going to say it won’t happen due to the reaction to Moore’s tantrum. DeBoer came at us with the sacrifices MM has made and how he stayed and had their backs. Team leader, blah blah blah….It will be the same for Jalen. He has regressed to the point that he will be here again next season as well. Preparing to say goodbye to Ty when the good ol portal opens.

I also think Jalen Milroe could be an NFL MVP one day

Dude, Milroe's been in college 3 years now and still can't read a defense. And you think he'll be able to read an NFL defense? He's not a QB and never will be. He needs to join the track team.

The team has to realize that Milroe isn’t a great QB. I mean he passed like 50 times and Bama scored 17 points. If there is someone better I think the starters will accept it and move forward. If not, and it’s so toxic, Bama will lose every remaining conference game.

You gotta make a move now or the season is done regardless. Time to separate the wheat from the chaff on this team.

It’s painful that this has to be said

Milroe isn’t even remotely close to ever being an NFL MVP let alone a starter and never has been. Even at his “best” an NFL defense would absolutely obliterate him

Strong arm, can run fast in a straight line. But doesn’t mean anything if he can’t actually grasp the mental side of the game
